No, they're a part of it. The rest of it is how you DECIDE to percieve these experiences and what you CHOOSE to do with them. Experiances from the past can be used to color and flavor current moments. An event occurs, through your senses percieve the information in front of you as a sort of raw data, and you use your past experiances and points of veiw to sort of compare through association, to fill in the blanks of this raw data and turn it into a concept with substantial meaning. So here you are, percieving this event with your current state of mind(an importiant distinction, you walk across a room you come back a different person) colored in by infurances and associations. And that's as far as the past goes. What is and everything you know taken into account, you're only left to speculate as to what could happen next. It could be anything. Every fiber of your being could point you away from something... but for whatever reason, be it a whim, a desprate fleeting hope, or pure impulse, you can still act however the fuck you decide to. A machine can delete it's memories. But it can not make a choice that violates its programming. Humans can. Because we have free will. People who deny free will, I see as feeble and weak-minded, their own incompassity to break from their narrow comfortable mold of behavior does not reflect on me or anyone else who decided to make a choice here and there, instead of just being a peice of driftwood...
"in order for my hero to become my heroine, my hero had to do heroin" d: i didn't think it up, my friend tom did. my friends oldest brother was addicted to heroin when he was young, and when he found out, his sister became his hero instead d:
There are no idle thoughts and there are no hidden thoughts especially when they are announced. Those vibrations don't just stop when you vocalize them, they are picked up and propagated. The squeaky wheel needs grease, but more often of not is simply ignored or replaced. The wheel that is working properly, doesn't squeak.
they're saying, vocalization of an idea or thought brings it forward to be discussed, and taken into others minds for potential improvement. people tend to forget that your brain needs to be interested in things, the brain/your mind is one of those things, if you don't use it, you lose it.
The extension or forceful exhalation of the breath eases your immediate anxiety. This is a physiological affect. It is why singing elevates your mood. You could just as easily take your tension and breathe is out quietly and calmly. No complaint is ultimately true as nothing real can be threatened. One of the most beneficial disciplines you can undertake is to resist the temptation to express negatively. Not through trying to force negativity to the side, but to replace it with a more positive and beneficial response. We do not stamp out evil, but simply affirm the good, and let go of our complaints because they are not meaningful.
If I bring forward the idea that the flight I was on was shit what possible improvement could anyone get from that? It's like one of those rubber balls that you squeeze to calm yourself down. The only use of it is to make yourself less stressed. The only types of bitching that can help someone improve on them self are real problems like break ups, getting fired, deaths and illnesses etc. I do not consider that bitching. I consider it talking about life. Have I answered properly this time or have I missed the point again? :2thumbsup:
When you breathe to get rid of stress you breathe out the bad and in the good. You are what makes negative energy. Well, you and the others around you. When you get rid of it or "stamp it out" it neutralises. It's like hitting something metal and waiting for it to become still again. The vibrations are gone and it is once again nothing but a tool used for making something better or worse. At least that's how I see it.
Some of the most insightful things I've thought have left me incapable of saying anything except, "Damn, this is good weed."
"Psychedelics are shortcuts to learning things that you would learn throughout the course of your life anyhow"
Because you let it out in that way does not mean that you have decided once and for all that going into that negative space is not helpful, and so you refuse to choose unconditional positive regard as a remedy for displeasure. You will find yourself complaining once more. If you think the activity makes for better or worse, then refine it toward the better. What I am saying is, if you need to relive anxiety over something, use an inert practice of your breath, that is take several deep breaths without trying to focus the energy into a type of communication with the world. The vibrations that emerge from you are like the rings on the surface of a pond when you throw a rock into it. Those vibratory waves in turn intersect with all the other waves that are being broadcast. It is kind of like am radio and the most powerful signals make the most noise, a lot of competing for air time creates static.
Not all that wonder are lost. can't remember where i picked that up but i always liked it. also some of the best advice i was ever given is to always do what you are afraid to. my pockets are empty so i guess that means i'vce got nothin' to lose today.
I agree completely. All I am saying is that there are other ways to do it. Yours is the best but it's also the most uncommon
I think a lot of people believe they have no real effect on events at large but they do, and the first task is to learn to do no harm. One of the barriers to peace is the desire to get rid of it.
