This was our boy the night we got him home. and now, 18 months later.. He's now starting to fill out his chest/crest area and has gotten back at least one of his puppy tiger stripes across his crest. We have a "true" short coat, so we don't have to deal with a lot of the fur that other people need to deal with, even for short coat shepherds.
This is Minny. She belongs to my in-laws. She is a big black lab, and I love her dearly. I wish I had a better picture of her. They also have another pup from the same litter, called Henry. I don't have any pics of him though. This is Dusty. She passed away last year, while I was in Indonesia on my honeymoon. I miss her so much it hurts.
You don't want the long story... full of mysticism and the old ways, so the short story is she fell or was pushed out of her nest as a fledgling and bonded to me. She has a condition called "bumble-foot" so she never would have made it in the wild. She's almost 10 now.
That is very cool, Tyr. The only repor I seem to have with birds is... if I'm coming in a hurry, get out the way.
I kind of do want th full story, actually. What is her name? Does she sleep in a cage, or fly freely around your house?
First dog I wasn't afraid of (I used to be scared of them). http://oi64.tinypic.com/28ui49i.jpg He went to live on a farm now though. There's just much more space for him at my grandmother's.
Nice photo of you, piaf...i like you in photos with less make up You have a sweeter look...and that is a compliment....but I cannot make out any dog in your photo, though....lol...I do see alot of fur in that photo, so i know the dog must be there, too...
There's a snout in your luscious mane and it's not your own face! Here's one of my friends that likes to get petted: Should take some new pics!
that was back when he still had some major "social issues" and was as much for other folks peace of mind as mine. He hasn't worn the muzzle for months now, he has learned to ignore other dogs as much as possible. I did notice yesterday that we have now gotten to the point where easily 60%+ of my commands to him are nothing more than a whisper and a finger point. Rarely do I have to actually raise my voice or be stern anymore. Here he is the first week he lived with us sitting proudly over his fresh kill of a soccer ball. The ball put up a valiant fight, but only managed to last 8 seconds.
I use uploadedit.com They have a mobile uploader and you can resize your images after they're uploaded. It's a touch of a pain and you need to sift through about.. 4 pages to finally get your photo link but it works at least. it also has this thing where you upload a photo and it's sideways so you need to go into your phone (assuming you have an iPhone) open your picture. Edit it and save it upside down, then edit it and flip it back to normal. Then the site uploads it correctly. It might just be me though. Then you'll see all these special effects you could add and under all that is the resizing option, I usually go the 700kb size for forums.
I am curled in a ball and I have his ball. He is begging on my thigh. The worry in his eyes. "Will I get my ball back?"
