Exactly one month ago I moved to a new town 35 minutes west from where I grew up. It is nice to be back in the general area, but this is still a new town for me that I never explored after all these years. Some girl from my last place of residence told me that her favorite part of my new town was the Illinois River. So I checked it out and quickly fell in love with it! Crystal clear waters. High visibility. Towering rocks for diving. Gold rich soils and gravel. Water is perfect swimming temperature. It's amazing. I can't believe after all these years I never ventured out to this area. (Even though it would be an hour drive or further from my parent's house, so maybe that's why). Moral of the story is that you never know what sort of amazing treasures you might be missing out on in your local area. Let's see your favorite recreation spot
......What.....No "Glory Hole".???....What Kind Of "Local Recreation" Place Is That......??????... Cheers Glen.
i've posted this before. it's better in the summer, but i don't have any pics handy of that. there's a nice beach there (which allows alcohol), and then you can walk out to the lighthouse and jump off into the lake. many summer afternoons spent there.
