Good (bloody marvelous compared to pre-op); hip's healed sufficiently to do an all-day Tai Chi workshop yesterday. Hemoglobin still a quart low (lost A LOT (1.8L; 1/3 my circulating volume) of blood; hence the ruddy cheeks in the photo), so I often feel like my batteries have gone flat. Thanks for asking; hope all's good with you.
Sorry to hear that you have not been well. You certainly look on the mend in this picture. Your little dog looks like a good companion, or did he just want to help you eat your cake.?
Animals are great companions. We are all very sad at the moment, because our cat died last week, he was over 18 years old. Our dog, a rescue Rottweiler still keeps looking around the house and garden for him, they became the greatest of friends. He was a bit apprehensive the day we brought him home and backed off. I still remember the relieved and somewhat surprised look on his face when he realised that the cat did not want to scratch his eyes out. After the usual bit of bum sniffing, they were friends for life.
I had to scare people at Union Station in New Haven, CT for this selfie. Glasses removed and *CLICK!*.
it's on the "purple people bridge" that goes across the river between cincinnati and newport.. They have provided a designated chain-link fence panel and a sign that says "any locks put elsewhere on the bridge will be removed". I didn't have a lock to add, although there is a 2nd bike lock on my bike that i don't know the combination to, so i was disappointed to not be able to add it.
your moustache is gone and your chin whiskers are longer... time has passed since the previous photo there is a place in Niagara Falls that does the same thing - except there I think it is a lovers thing- and a tourist thing - where locks can be purchased and engraved... a little fancier and a money-maker.
