I am not sticking up for W or any politician here but just stating the facts...He cut various things that you agree with to give tax breaks to the wealthy, etc. He is a politician...he is driven by the need for money and power. The people who GAVE him money and power are the people that he works for. I would guess that you didn't donate to his cause with very large checks and under the table money so why do you think he shopuld serve you? Democrats are just as guilty of the same crap...they are all politicians and the serve the source of the money and power. Look around, that ain't us. I have said this before. We need to look beyond who is there now because the only change that we are going to get is the change that we MAKE. remeber the saying... Voting...if it changed anything, they wouldn't let us do it. The politicians have so corrupted the system that it is nearly impossible to get a third part candidate into the sytem and it is nearly as impossible to defeat an incumbunt in office. Ask yourself why that is. All of the things that are spoken of on this thread were passed by a majority of BOTH parties in the house and in the senate and then agreed on in committee by Republicans and Democrats before W sighns the law. In fact, W doesn't make laws he only sighns the ones that congress sends him. All of these laws are voted on by Republicans and Democrats usually by voice vote so that no one knows who exactly votes for what.....
Really? If they did then why did they invade Iraq? The WTO is almost an example of true international law by which the world abides. But last time I checked not every country on the planet was a member, and the WTO has only been around for about 10 years, not hundreds. If a non-member country (hypothetically, of course) didn't abide by their rules then would they be breaking the law?
Why....because YOU don't agree with what he does or says? Let's count your mistakes in this thread.... You didn't capitalize the first word of your sentence in #1. Illegal has 2 L's. And, if you're going to talk about intelligence....make sure you use the correct words for the drugs you listed in #4. And, sonuvabitch isn't a word. Um....so is half of America, which is why he was voted for a second term. Since when is this war illegal? He, being the president, has every right to call for a war....if it's okayed....it's not illegal. Right....and you've been hiding under a rock WHERE? Come on....at least make an intelligent statement if you're going to bash someone else's intelligence. He actually has quite an extensive vocabulary....he just get mixed up while making speaches. I'd like to see YOU do a better job.... I'm not a fan of the man, but I don't see a reason in making a thread about how he's such a bad president which, by the way, if you search through these fora, I'm sure you can find 50 other threads about this exact topic. He'll be around for at least 2 more years....suck it up and move on.
Is it 11 we're on? Ah, I'll go with that. 11. He blatantly ignored the plight of those on the coast after Katrina until public outcry demanded he do something. Instead he ordered more troops to be sent to Iraq.
My bad: President and Chief George W. Bush's war on illicit narcotics seems in my mind to be centered mainly around the use, abuse, cultivation of, and trafficking of CANNIBAS SATTIVA. "Captain-fuckin-america" seems to not be concerned about the use, abuse and traffikcing of COCAINE HYDROCHLORIDE, and CRYASTALIZED METHAMPHETAMINE. Are you happy now?
They believe in they're sovereignty You do realize that international means between two countries, and not necessarily aplying to all countries. But the US is a member of the UN, and therefore is subject to its laws.
Nope....because you're still bitching about it over the internet instead of actually doing something about it. He's going to be in office for 2 more years. Everyone needs to shut up and deal with it. Bashing President Bush on the internet is doing nothing but making you look like an imbecile.
Iraq broke their agreements with the UN that they agreed upon after the ending of the first gulf war. Therefore, the US and other UN members had every right to invade the country and oust saddam. Every single member of Congress and The House of Representatives gave Bush the authourity to wage war against Saddam. This war is not illegal in any way. In my opinion, the treaites of Westphalia lost all merit as soon as the first signing nation invaded another country. They never should have held much water from the beginning, seeing as how Great Britain, the most imperial nation during the signing, did not take part in any of the treaties and went on to greatly expand their empire in the 300 years from their signing to the first World War -- and the "member" countries never tried to prevent GB from expanding in India, Africa, and the Middle East.
Thats the one good thing about "free speach", We bitch about whoever we want, whatever we want, whenever we want !!... Ia there a hard drive that is large enough to hold all those doccuments?
Has anyone noticed that he looks alot like grandpa Munster? Where has grandpa Munster been for the last 6 years anyway???
