Beautiful. A nice story indeed. We have soup kitchens in the States, but they are very limited and restricted. Jesus instructed us to feed the hungry and poor - not to judge them for why they are hungry and poor.

I think that's what made him so exceptional. :sunny:

P.S. This is a perfect Easter lyric - written and sung by the rock poet Patti Smith. Also, the iconic album cover (photographed by Robert Mapplethorpe - is considered by most rock critics as among the Top 100 album covers of all time).

Sadly, this song came much later than the original HORSES album cover. But I believe they somehow belong together, especially given Mapplethorpe's ( a former lover and close friend of Patti Smith's) early death to complications due to AIDS. I hope Patti and Robert will one day meet again. They were true soulmates. :sunny:
