You can do it, Biggen. I smoked for almost 30 years and gave it up. It's hard but you can if you really want it badly enough. I did. I love to hike and it was getting impossible.

Thanks Zoomie. Yeah, it's getting out of hand. Between the price and the constant hacking...something's gotta give.

 

Let the cigarettes give. Don't YOU give. I still get cravings but I stay strong. I have the weirdest feeling in my chest, like there's a tornado in there. It's the feeling of being able to breath clearly for the first time since 1978. But I bet I could do a 2000' rise over 1/2 mile now. Will let you know in Sep, I'm taking a long weekend on the AT end of next month.

 

If hating me will help motivate you to be successful then by all means, despise me, hate my guts, loathe the ground I walk on. Your health is worth a fuck of a lot more than whether someone likes me or not.
