This is the way to enjoy yourself and stuff Corona Virus aka Covid19. I'm sick to death hearing and reading about it!! 1924 style!

 

Nice shot, there's no blur at all. I'd bet the car isn't moving. It would be odd for the driver to be seated on the left instead of the center. And don't you love the kerosene headlamps!

I have a tin type of a family sitting in a car at a fair. Just being in a car was still a new experience and having such a picture was socially elevating. The tin type is so clear it's easy to see the car isn't real, it's a prop, though a good one. But the headlamps were solid wood, no glass. And the background sags in a couple of places.

I bet the family wasted a whole nickel on the shot. But they probably got a dollars' worth of bragging rights. That is, until the local rich bastard buys a car and asks the father to show him how to drive it.

The boy is out of focus because he's a ghost.


This poor slob has his mother in law in the back seat. Look at his expression. Just look at it!


In both of these the cars seem closer to real than the one I have. The backgrounds are fake.

 

The guy in the store looks like Tim Pool.
