Living so close to the border, I'll tell you there are some Mexicans that are White Af too.

 

It can also easily be argued that a lot of spanish people aren't as white as a lot of other caucasians

 

Aren't as white? What do you mean?

 

I don't care what color you are if you're from Cali you're like honorary Mexican. I speak more Spanish in a day than I do English, usually from rattling off place names and ordering food

 

I hint at the fact there's a subtile difference between the average spanish citizen and the average north european where it comes to how white they are.

 

Ah, I gotcha. The whole "whiteness" thing is dumb to me because being European is more about genetics than exact coloring of the skin.

 

Depends who you ask i guess. Imo being european is primarily about wether one is born in it and where their parents came from. So if a spanish person would for example have a lot of north african genes due to their ancestry centuries ago, that means little to nothing.

 

I work with a Spanish guy. He's pretty damn white, has red hair and freckles, more in line with what the average American thinks the average Irish person looks like
