An incident I attended a couple of years back,about the only thing missing was the dog (as in every man and his dog) what a day that was.

 

Old-growth Western Red Cedar is pretty scarce now days. I also remember when clear cedar siding was widely available. Our previous house in Missoula, Mt was built in 1976 and sided with old growth redwood....it was not as good as cedar because it was subject to expansion and contraction on the south side of the house and didn’t handle rainfall very well.
