Not true. I flipped the root on several locks to see if it makes a difference and I like how the roots look and after a month they started to dread as well, so flipped roots do dread. Tannaleigh's were all locked and she root flipped. Background is better than before. Looks good to me.
I would do this but I am not skilled with photoshop at all. Someone should replace some of the not colored and wrapped dreads with some naturals...give some more variety. I like the colors and I don't think it should be all natural as there is a wide array of people here. It looks good, I like it alright, better than the old one, but some nappy locks in there would be sweet too.
Not true. If you look at tanneleighs close up, its pretty obvious that the parts where it was flipped haven't locked. It's more like a braid than a dreadlock. I root flipped on 2 locks, after 4 years it still didn't lock, looked like shit, and after an hour or so of fucking around with it, I got them unflipped. And yeah, I think I'm one of the rare people that liked the previous background.
greta, you can't tell me that you don't see in tannaleigh's scan where she roots flipped? you musta needa eye doctor.
thanks for the link. this will come in handy sometime. I am a professional web designer and software engineer and spend so much time doing the programming side of things, I have never (out of all the years I have been doing it) taken the time to learn the basics of image manipulation and creation in photoshop.
Um, I'm trying to find someone to develop an article submission site (just the script for it and follow up maintenance)... Is that something you could do or even be interested in? Chances are you're busy with your own work. I have been quoted a price, but would prefer to give the work to someone I *know*. And this is not just to shady, if there is anyone that is interested, give me a pm.
