I took a wild ride, and I am truly master of my own destiny now. After being homeless and destitute, and being completely alone in the world... I've realized that I've always had the chance to change that. And now I'm at peace.
I am eating brownies! I might be talking to my doctor again about getting some financial support for my condition My daughter has been going all day so far without one meltdown.
The positivity in this thread, makes me very happy!!! thanks for all sharing. Keep it coming!! We all need reminders now and again.
I no longer smoke cigs. I surprised everyone yesterday on my snowboarding improvement. I'm very thankful to have a family that supports me regardless.
Good idea, OP. I am right there with you (probably not exactly what you're going through, but I know what you mean about keeping your chin up). So here are my three things: -Even though my fiance went back to Maine today, I didn't cry because he's sending me a train ticket so I can ride up there and spend New Year's Eve with him. It's going to be a beautiful ride. -I have time to cook now that I am out of school, and I can't wait to do it as much as possible for the next few days until I leave... then with my fiance when I get there. -I have a Coca Cola. I love the stuff. Haven't had it in a while.
I had a Coke earlier too. It was the first time I've drank Coke in months. Also, I'm currently eating some pancakes and drinking some ice-cold milk. Fookin wonderful
I usually drink Dr. Pepper at home, but at work we have the best Coke in the whole world. I have no idea what it is, except maybe the syrup is turned a weensy bit too high. I only like it from fountains and glass bottles, though. The stuff from Mexico is the beeeeesssssst.
Yeah it's weird how different soda is when you drink it from the fountain vs glass vs cans. I wish they still put cocaine in Coca Cola. lol That would be the definitive energy drink
Dr. Pepper, however, tends to be good from plastic, aluminum, and glass (though different every time), but fountains it's definitely hit or miss. We miss BIG time at work.
Where do you work? I hate it when there is too much sodium in the fountain drinks. At least, I've heard it's because of too much sodium when it tastes like that. lol It tastes terrible.
Today for the first time in weeks, I felt like I had the energy to do what I wanted to. I wrapped up the last of the gifts I needed to. I baked some cookies. I sampled them to make sure they were good. I am waiting for the kids to get home as they love to snoop in the parcels and eat cookies, so that makes the day even better.
I work at a Dairy Queen. It's not sodium that makes it bad here, though, it's just that the syrup to carbonation ratio is off. But I think I know what you're talking about, some places have nasty salty tasting fountain drinks.
I'm about to patent and release my new soft drink in 2011 called Dr. Mepher, its a unique blend of 4-mmc and whatever the current stuff in dr. Pepper is.
Ok mister guerillabedlam, where is your positive post??? LOL onto to mine I have survived the morning with my 2 crazy toddlers.
