Workers' rights to organize unions - for better pay & benefits - that billionaires can't seem to part with ........ despite their employees actually doing the work that made them rich
Workers' compensation - for when you get hurt on the job
Handicap access in numerous locations
Country-of-origin labels , so consumers can at least see where things are made - and where their jobs went.
Overtime pay - where REPUBLICANS haven't outlawed it yet. They're coming for THAT TOO. "Right to work" means the right to work FOR LESS. Learn something ........... just once.

These are just some of the things Democrats fought for - for ALL Americans.

 

Oh, I always laugh that we are a 'Right to work" state, which actually means the opposite. You have no right to your job, you can be dismissed at any time for any reason - or no reason at all, just "bye", no severance, insurance or anything. It's up to you to prove prejudice or age discrimination, which is pretty much a frivolous action. But no worries, if you're lucky and they can confirm with your ex employer that you were not fired for cause, you get twelve whole weeks of a taxable $350/week max, non renewable, non negotiable, as your unemployment lifeline - which the GOP legislators actually cut from like $550/ week...."well, it encouraged people not to work". Meanwhile we have a $4B surplus STILL sitting around and we can't expand Medicaid or pay teachers or bus drivers a living wage (or let them unionize), cops and firemen start out at about $30k and they wonder why they can't find anyone to work...
