Top, great post. Refreshing that someone actually has the courage to voice such a concern that I believe is a major concern for a majority of Americans, but politically correctly extorted into silence.

I can't help but feel that much of this movement coincided with the feminist movement as well as the racial equality movement of this society.

When debated on playing field of rational facts and ideas, most defenders haven't a leg to stand on when it's made obvious most of these ideals are based on hypocrisy and reverse racism. Thus typically they degrade thier stance to "it's not what they said, it's how they said it..." Ring a bell?

In essense, PC is more concerned with peoples "feelings" then their safety. PC gets people killed. I point to the lowering of standards in various first response institutions such as fire and police depts. In order to meet the Marxist "quota" system devised by these movements, those we turn to at our most dire times are less capable, less efficient, which leads to being less effective overall. These sacrifices being made to save people's feelings from being hurt.

On a grander scale, lowering of criteria in our schools to meet racial/gender quotas, especially higher education institutions, are leading us to be less competitive on the global stage. Look at those nations with the highest rates of producing technically superior students, and they're typically those nations with the least amount of adherence to PC concepts.

I"m sure some of these thoughts will bring about emotionally driven flames, and accusations of racism/cheauvinism, which would only support my beliefs. Before you respond with such claims, please look at the evidence. Keep in mind affirmative action, and the race/gender quota systems have only been in place a very very short period of time. In that short time, look at what has happend to our society...look at our education systems downward spiral, look at way our children are doing. Look at the degradation of the nuclear family structure. Look at the way society treats the weakest and most needy in our society...the elderly, the weak and poor. Government tries to take personal responsibility away from we "racist/cheavinistic" individuals and place them into the hands of small "departments" within the governement to handle such affairs...how do you feel it's going?

I'd love to hear some evidence to the contrary, on how it's been a good thing, besides allowing individuals to have more disposable income and more idle time, but in the important categories of society, how have we benefited from such Marxist rules and regulations???

A prominent theme appearing in several places in my books on Judaism is that individualistic societies are uniquely vulnerable to invasion by cohesive groups such as has been historically represented by Judaism. Recent research by evolutionary economists provides fascinating insight on the differences between individualistic cultures versus collectivist cultures. An important aspect of this research is to model the evolution of cooperation among individualistic groups.66 People will altruistically punish defectors in a "one-shot" game—a game in which participants only interact once and are thus not influenced by the reputations of the people with whom they are interacting. This situation therefore models an individualistic culture because participants are strangers with no kinship ties. The surprising finding was that subjects who made high levels of public goods donations tended to punish people who did not, even though they incurred a cost in doing so. Moreover, the punished individuals changed their ways and donated more in future games even though they knew that the participants in later rounds were not the same as in previous rounds. The researchers suggest that people from individualistic cultures have an evolved negative emotional reaction to free riding that results in their punishing such people even at a cost to themselves—hence the term "altruistic punishment."

Essentially this research provides a model of the evolution of cooperation among individualistic peoples. Their results are most applicable to individualistic groups because such groups are not based on extended kinship relationships and are therefore much more prone to defection. In general, high levels of altruistic punishment are more likely to be found among individualistic, hunter-gather societies than in kinship-based societies based on the extended family. Their results are least applicable to groups such as Jewish groups or other highly collectivist groups which in traditional societies were based on extended kinship relationships, known kinship linkages, and repeated interactions among members. In such situations, actors know the people with whom they are cooperating and anticipate future cooperation because they are enmeshed in extended kinship networks, or, as in the case of Jews, they are in the same group.

Europeans are thus exactly the sort of groups modeled by this research: They are groups with high levels of cooperation with strangers rather than with extended family members, and they are prone to market relations and individualism.

This suggests the fascinating possibility that the key for a group intending to turn Europeans against themselves is to trigger their strong tendency toward altruistic punishment by convincing them of the moral blameworthiness of their own people. Because Europeans are individualists at heart, they readily rise up in moral anger against their own people once they are seen as free riders and therefore morally blameworthy—a manifestation of their stronger tendency toward altruistic punishment deriving from their evolutionary past as hunter gatherers. In making judgments of altruistic punishment, relative genetic distance is irrelevant. Free-riders are seen as strangers in a market situation; i.e., they have no familial or tribal connection with the altruistic punisher.

As a very interesting and influential European group, the Puritans exemplified this tendency toward altruistic punishment. A defining feature of Puritanism was the tendency to pursue utopian causes framed as moral issues—their susceptibility to utopian appeals to a ‘higher law’ and the belief that government’s principal purpose is moral. New England was the most fertile ground for "the perfectibility of man creed," and the "father of a dozen ‘isms’."67 There was a tendency to paint political alternatives as starkly contrasting moral imperatives, with one side portrayed as evil incarnate—inspired by the devil. Puritan moral intensity can also be seen in their "profound personal piety"68—their intensity of commitment to live not only a holy life, but also a sober and industrious life.

Puritans waged holy war on behalf of moral righteousness even against their own genetic cousins. The suggestion is that this is a form of altruistic punishment found more often among cooperative hunter-gatherer groups than among groups based on extended kinship. For example, whatever the political and economic complexities that led to the Civil War, it was the Yankee moral condemnation of slavery that inspired the rhetoric and rendered the massive carnage of closely related Anglo-Americans on behalf of slaves from Africa justifiable in the minds of Puritans. Militarily, the war with the Confederacy rendered the heaviest sacrifice in lives and property ever made by Americans.69 Puritan moral fervor and its tendency to justify draconian punishment of evil doers can also be seen in the comments of "the Congregationalist minister at Henry Ward Beecher’s Old Plymouth Church in New York [who] went so far as to call for ‘exterminating the German people . . . the sterilization of 10,000,000 German soldiers and the segregation of the woman."70

Thus the current altruistic punishment so characteristic of contemporary Western civilization: Once Europeans were convinced that their own people were morally bankrupt, any and all means of punishment should be used against their own people. Rather than see other Europeans as part of an encompassing ethnic and tribal community, fellow Europeans were seen as morally blameworthy and the appropriate target of altruistic punishment. For Westerners, morality is individualistic—violations of communal norms by free riders are punished by altruistic aggression.

On the other hand, group strategies deriving from collectivist cultures, such as Judaism, are immune to such a maneuver because kinship and group ties come first. Morality is particularistic—whatever is good for the group. There is no tradition of altruistic punishment because the evolutionary history of these groups centers around cooperation of close kin, not strangers.

The best strategy to destroy Europeans, therefore, is to convince the Europeans of their own moral bankruptcy. A major theme of my book, The Culture of Critique: An Evolutionary Analysis of Jewish Involvement in Twentieth-Century Intellectual and Political Movements,71is that this is exactly what Jewish intellectual movements have done. They have presented Judaism as morally superior to European civilization and European civilization as morally bankrupt and the proper target of altruistic punishment. The consequence is that once Europeans are convinced of their own moral depravity, they will destroy their own people in a fit of altruistic punishment. The general dismantling of the culture of the West, and eventually its demise as anything resembling an ethnic entity, will occur as a result of a moral onslaught triggering a paroxysm of altruistic punishment. And thus the intense effort among Jewish intellectuals to continue the ideology of the moral superiority of Judaism and its role as undeserving historical victim while at the same time continuing the onslaught on the moral legitimacy of the West.72

Individualist societies are therefore an ideal environment for highly collectivist, group-oriented strategies such as Judaism. It is significant that the problem of immigration of non-European peoples is not at all confined to the United States but represents a severe and increasingly contentious problem in the entire Western world and nowhere else: Only European-derived peoples have opened their doors to the other peoples of the world and now stand in danger of losing control of territory occupied for hundreds of years. And they have done so to a considerable extent as a consequence of a self-perceived moral imperative that was utilized successfully by immigration activists to attain their own ethnic aims.73

Western societies have traditions of individualistic humanism, which make immigration restriction difficult. In the nineteenth century, for example, the Supreme Court twice turned down Chinese exclusion acts on the basis that they legislated against a group, not an individual.74 The effort to develop an intellectual basis for immigration restriction was tortuous; by 1920 it was based on the legitimacy of the ethnic interests of Northwestern Europeans and had overtones of racialist thinking. Both these ideas were difficult to reconcile with the stated political, moral, and humanitarian ideology of a republican and democratic society in which, as Jewish pro-immigration activists such as Israel Zangwill emphasized, racial or ethnic group membership had no official intellectual sanction. The replacement of these assertions of ethnic self-interest with an ideology of "assimilability" in the debate over the McCarran-Walter act immigration act of 1952 was perceived by its opponents as little more than a smokescreen for "racism." At the end, this intellectual tradition collapsed largely as a result of the onslaught of the intellectual movements reviewed in this volume, and so collapsed a central pillar of the defense of the ethnic interests of European-derived peoples.

One very prominent strategy for Jewish intellectuals has been to promote radical individualism and moral universalism to the point that the entire ethnic basis of the society is undermined. In other words, these movements capitalized on the fact that Western societies had already adopted a paradigm of individualism and moral universalism, and were highly prone to altruistic punishment of their own people. These movements had the collective effect of undermining remaining sources of group cohesion among Europeans while leaving intact Judaism as a highly cohesive, group-based movement. The exemplar of this strategy is the work of the Frankfurt School of Social Research, but similar comments could be made about leftist political ideology and psychoanalysis. At its simplest level, gentile group identifications are regarded as an indication of psychopathology.

Despite the decline of extended kinship and the rise of individualism, Europeans had not entirely shed all sense of being part of a larger community. In the U.S., Europeans retained a sense of peoplehood based on race well into the 20th century. This sense of peoplehood and being a member of a race was buttressed by Darwinian-inspired scholarship, which not only viewed racial differences as well-established scientific findings, but also viewed the white race as uniquely talented. But this final attempt to find a biological sense of peoplehood went into steep decline, and is now widely viewed with horror in the academic establishment, largely because of the intellectual movements I discuss in The Culture of Critique.75
Conclusion

Whether Western individualistic societies are able to defend the legitimate interests of the European-derived peoples remains questionable. The present tendencies lead one to predict that unless individualism is abandoned the end result will be a substantial diminution of the genetic, political, and cultural influence of European peoples. It would be an unprecedented unilateral abdication of such power and certainly an evolutionist would expect no such abdication without at least a phase of resistance by a significant segment of the population—presumably the more ethnocentric among us. Ironically perhaps, this reaction would emulate aspects of Judaism by adopting group-serving, collectivist ideologies and social organizations. Whether the decline of the European peoples continues unabated or is arrested, it will constitute a profound impact of Judaism as a group evolutionary strategy on the development of Western societies.

To suggest that one can model an individualistic culture by simply using strangers, reveals a total lack of experience with individualistic cultures.

There are no individualistic cultures within a hierarchical civilization such as our patriarchal civilization.

We can not recreate an accurate model of individualistic cultures using today’s civilized people.

Hierarchy is a collective coercion that controls and suppresses individuality from birth.

Individualistic cultures, on the other hand, are non-hierarchical, and recognize the sovereignty of each individual to subjectively experience their own life.

Those who are preoccupied with coercing others to conform to a hierarchical authority, are the first to lose the sovereignty of their individuality.

To demand obedience and submission to a hierarchy, is to deny an individual’s sovereignty and suppress the individual’s subjective experience of their own life.

Individuals raised in individualistic cultures, on the other hand, recognize and respect each unique individual expression of life as they do their own.

The only true community is a totally diverse community of sovereign individuals, not submissive conformists.

Unfortunately, the hierarchically civilized are conformists who can no longer fully experience the subjective, nor fully express the individuality of life.

To suggest that the hierarchically civilized can accurately model individualistic cultures, simply because they are "non-kin related strangers", is a simplistic mistake.

And what Kevin MacDonald dismisses as "Radical Individualism", is in fact the individualistic culture of the hunter-gatherers that clueless Kevin MacDonald claims to be modelling in the first place.

Since the massive neolithic regression there have been no cultures of sovereign individuals in any civilization.

Through no fault of their own, but simply by being in the destructive path of
the neolithic climate-shift, our European ancestors were among the first to regress, and surrender their soveriegnty as individuals, and submissively seek, like women, the authority and security of the hierarchical father-figure.

This child-like regression has, through coersion, developed a momentum that has grown in the last one-hundred centuries into the collective latent-homosexual impulse we comically call Western-Civilization.

Kevin MacDonald’s "Altruistic Punishment" is a concept based on the delusion rather than the reality of "Altruism".

Typically, Kevin MacDonald fails to factor in the comforting psychological rewards that the anal-retentive, latent-homosexual gains when he successfully controls the behavior of others, and coerces them to accept the rationalized reality fabricated using the rationalized delusions and denials of our collective Super-Ego.

The anal-retentive, latent-homosexual EGO will always rationalize, as an "altruistic" impulse, its uncontrollable anal impulse to control others.

True "Altruism" is simply "offered", and is NOT the grasping, controlling, anal-retentive, impulse that the latent-homosexual Super-Ego collectively rationalizes as the clueless Kevin MacDonald supposes.

Southern White Male, for example, would commonly claim that slavery was not an anal-retentive, latent-homosexual impulse, but rather, an "altruistic" impulse to "civilize" the Black Man, and liberate him from primitive savagery.

The following is another example of the mass psychosis of collective delusions and denials masquerading as "altruism".

In this delusional rationalization we’re told to believe that first-response was more capable during the pre-quota of segregation when in fact the first-response reality was that the entire Black population would consider themselves lucky indeed to receive any first-response efforts at all!!!

Moreover, it's significant to note that the one most responsible for speading the idea that diversity and multiculturalism is a Marxist Plot, was a recognized public cross-dresser, aka a drag-queen, named J.Edgar Hoover.

Jews, Gypsies, Blacks, Native Americans, are the classic stranger to the European.

And did the European develop high levels of cooperation with these strangers?

NO!!

Their interaction was coersive to the core.

Jews have been persecuted by Europeans since the rule of Rome.

If Jews are cohesive, it's because they share a collective persecution, and were not allowed to assimilate.

Jewish critiques of European Culture are the valuable insights of the outsider, who is in an advantagous position to view the ironic pathos that the inside group can not see for themselves.

Hunter-gatherers, unlike patriarchal man, is an individualistic culture that would NOT even understand the concept of "Altruistic Punishment".

Guilt and Sado-Masochism are both linked to homo-erotic impulses, and are both the primary motivations behind "Altruistic Punishment".

Ironically, patriarchal Europeans switched to Judeo-Christianity, because the highly patriarchal Jews had developed one of the best religious expressions of guilt and submissive obedience to the ultimate father-figure authority.

This guilt and obedience to parental authority is motivated by the neurotic conflicts that arise between parent and child during toilet training in the anal-stage of sexual development.

True individualistic cultures, such as the indigenous peoples of the New World, freely adopted people of any race.

Biologically, reproduction is not only our primary motive, but also our primary identity.

Maleness or Femaleness is overwhelmingly our primary identity.

Racial identity, as we see in true individualistic cultures, exists, but as a nearly insignificant factor compared to sexual identity.

Race is such an insignificant twig when compared to the oceanic primal forces of sex, that when our sexual identity is threatened by anal-retentive, latent-homosexuality, our inadequate sexual identity will harness racial identity to slavishly reinforce our flagging sexual identity.

In identity, sex trumps race by a mile, and race is but the weak bitch to overpowering psycho-sexual motivations.

Finally, let's be clear, there are NO individualistic cultures in any hierarchical civilization, European or otherwise.

They are muturally exclusive,,, except in Kevin MacDonald's wishful imagination.

One: My comments about "Southern White Male" needs the following qualifier: The Conservative American South is simply the most visible tip of a conforming glacier that spreads across all of hierarchical civilization.

Two: This Southern tendency towards Conservative Social Conformity, more than anywhere else, means that to be a non-conformist, counter-cultural hippie type takes a personality with incredible integrity and inner strength.

I greatly admire all Southern Non-Comformist, because I know what you're up against.

Three: In regards to intellectual proposals, To be a serious intelectual effort one must have something intelectually original to say from one's own mind in one's own words, and not just a unoriginal and mindless "Cut and Paste" job of other people's work.

Typically, people with cluster B personality disorders such as borderline personality disorder employ a technique known as projection to preempt any threat to the self. You do this alot in your writings. You need to admit this to yourself. Its hard to admit that you are and have been wrong, but your recovery and rehabilitation demands denouncement of your paradigm. From my rational observations, your writing come off as the irrational and harmless rantings of a brainwashed person trying very very hard to come off as scholarly. Do you want to know why books such as "The Culture of Critique" by Kevin MacDonald have gotten such high ratings on Amazon.com? His conclusions are in line with reality. Do you want to know why Pat Buchanan's book "State of Emergency" is flying off the shelves? Because its the truth, and the reality of its writings resonate with white Americans. You prefer brainwashed sheeple to thinking people whereas I prefer thinking people to brainwashed sheeple. Projection is a primal defence mechanism where we project (often loudly) on to others our own hidden motives.

By exposing these projections we can reveal the hidden motives behind any political animus.

Pseudo-science poses as science but has no solid empirical evidence to substantiate its claims. Being willing and able to recognize pseudoscience requires an understanding of scientific methods and related habits of mind. Skepticism is one of the important habits of mind promoted by science and a need for credible evidence is another. When someone makes claims that seem hard to believe we should require that person to provide the evidence upon which the claims rest. For example, Viennese physician Franz-Joseph Gall (1758-1828) claimed the shape and size of the human skull are related to emotional and intellectual functions. His “theory” was called phrenology and, couched in scientific sounding terms, convinced many that skull contours revealed a great deal about personality and intellect. Future criminals and great leaders were predicted on the basis of head bumps and valleys and for about 100 years phrenology masqueraded as science until it was finally discredited for lack of credible evidence.


In the twentieth century Sigmund Freud convinced many that he could interpret people’s dreams and expose repressed memories of childhood sexual abuse or harmful sexual fantasies involving their parents. Although no credible evidence was offered to substantiate his claims, Freud was able to influence many people to pay a lot of money to lie on a couch week after week in search of solutions to their problems, real or imagined. Like Gall’s phrenology a century earlier, Freud’s psychoanalysis was eventually shown by scientists and other skeptics to be without credible evidence. Unlike Gall however, Freud’s ideas continue to influence many people’s beliefs and empty their wallets. For those interested in learning more about Freud‘s pseudoscience, Richard Webster’s Why Freud Was Wrong (1995), Allen Esterson’s Seductive Mirage (1993), and Elizabeth Loftus’ The Myth of Repressed Memory (1994) are good sources.

Identifying pseudoscience

A field, practice, or body of knowledge might reasonably called pseudoscience or pseudoscientific when (1) it is presented as consistent with the accepted norms of scientific research); but (2) it demonstrably fails to meet these norms, most importantly, in misuse of scientific method.[14] [15] [16] One accepted norm for example is that of making data and methodology available for scrutiny by other scientists and researchers, as well as making available any additional relevant information used to arrive at particular results or methods of practice.[17] To the degree that thorough documentation of data and method is unavailable for detailed scrutiny by others, a body of knowledge, practice, or field of inquiry will tend, to meet at least several of the characteristics below.

The following characteristics have been argued by the cited authors to be useful in identifying pseudoscience.

Use of vague, exaggerated or untestable claims

• Assertion of scientific claims that are vague rather than precise, and that lack specific measurements.[18]
• Failure to make use of operational definitions.[19]
• Failure to adhere to the principle of parsimony, i.e. failing to seek an explanation that requires the fewest possible additional assumptions when multiple viable explanations are possible (see: Occam's Razor)[20]
• Use of obscurantist language. It is alleged that many proponents of pseudoscience misuse apparently technical jargon in an effort to give their disciplines the superficial trappings of science.[21]
• Lack of boundary conditions: Most well-supported scientific theories possess boundary conditions (well articulated limitations) under which the predicted phenomena do and do not apply. In contrast, many or most pseudoscientific phenomena are purported to operate across an exceedingly wide range of conditions.[22]

For example, vitalism, a concept used in many therapies considered pseudoscientific such as those involving qi, prana, or innate intelligence, is largely untestable as there is no proposed way to measure the proposed energy fields or flows stated as the mechanism of action (Williams 2000:367).

Over-reliance on confirmation rather than refutation

• Assertion of scientific claims that cannot be falsified in the event they are incorrect, inaccurate, or irrelevant (see also: falsifiability)[23][24]

Peter Gay labels Freud’s work generally as “subversive” (1987, 140), his sexual ideology in particular as “deeply subversive for his time” (p. 148), and he describes his Totem and Taboo as containing “subversive conjectures” (p. 327) in its analysis of culture. “While the implications of Darwin’s views were threatening and unsettling, they were not quite so directly abrasive, not quite so unrespectable, as Freud’s views on infantile sexuality, the ubiquity of perversions, and the dynamic power of unconscious urges” (Gay 1987, 144).


In the United States, by the second decade of the twentieth century Freud was firmly associated with the movement for sexual freedom and social reform, and had become the target of social conservatives (Torrey 1992, 16ff).95 As late as 1956 a psychiatrist writing in the American Journal of Psychiatry complained, “Is it possible that we are developing the equivalent of a secular church, supported by government monies, staffed by a genital-level apostolate unwittingly dispensing a broth of existential atheism, hedonism, and other dubious religio-philosophical ingredients?” (Johnson 1956, 40).

Although he rejected religion, Freud himself had a very strong Jewish
identity. In a 1931 letter he described himself as “a fanatical Jew,” and on another occasion he wrote that he found “the attraction of Judaism and of Jews so irresistible, many dark emotional powers, all the mightier the less they let themselves be grasped in words, as well as the clear consciousness of inner identity, the secrecy of the same mental construction” (in Gay 1988, 601). On another occasion he wrote of “strange secret longings” related to his Jewish identity (in Gay 1988, 601). At least by 1930 Freud also became strongly sympathetic with Zionism. His son Ernest was also a Zionist, and none of Freud’s children converted to Christianity or married gentiles.

Deception is also indicated by the evidence that Freud felt that one reason psychoanalysis needed highly visible gentiles was because he viewed psychoanalysis as subverting gentile culture. After publishing Little Hans in 1908, he wrote to Karl Abraham that the book would create an uproar: “German ideals threatened again! Our Aryan comrades are really completely indispensable to us, otherwise psychoanalysis would succumb to anti-Semitism” (in Yerushalmi 1991, 43).

An attitude of Jewish superiority to gentiles not only characterized Freud but pervaded the entire movement. Ernest Jones (1959, 211) mentioned “the Jewish belief, which they often impose on other people too, concerning the superiority of their intellectual powers.” As in the case of radical intellectual circles dominated by Jews (see Ch. 3), “The feeling of Jewish superiority alienated many non-Jews within the movement and encouraged many outside the movement to dismiss as hypocritical the humanitarian claims of the psychoanalysts” (Klein 1981, 143)— a comment suggesting self-deception among psychoanalysts regarding their
motives.

It is therefore of interest that when Jung and Alfred Adler were expelled from the movement for heresy, the issue that appears to have been most important to Freud was their rejection of the interrelated ideas of the sexual etiology of neurosis, the Oedipal complex, and childhood sexuality. Sexual repression in Western societies during this period was highly salient and undeniable. Freud’s theory may thus be viewed as an invention whose utility in the assault on Western culture derived from the intuitive plausibility of supposing that the suppression of sexual urges would result in major changes in behavior that could possibly have psychotherapeutic effects. Moreover, the Oedipal complex idea proved to be critical to Freud’s thesis for the centrality of sexual repression in Totem and Taboo—what Gay (1988, 329) terms some of Freud’s “most subversive conjectures” and discussed in more detail below.
