Police Refusing to Rescue Brits from New Orleans!

The whole situation is fucking outrageous. It shouldn't matter what nationality, color or class you are, people are people regardless of what.

I've disliked Bush and his government. But this is the final straw. Isn't it time for that American dream to be re-captured already? If so many hate Bush, do more about it! Get him out, before it's too late, and one day governments won't be scared to make even the most radically awful decisions!

Probably a bit harsh really. His re-actions are only the culmination of a Capitalist system, supply and demand rules.
They have obviously been short on social care but the suggestion of hunting people is bit OTT.
I do struggle sometimes with the concept held by a lot of people that the governments are obliged to assist personal distress, it is a principle I agree with, but I can't regard it as an inaliable(?) right.

 

Yes it is = whatever is in war time when we spend billions in building the best weapons or during a natural disaster other wise get rid of the goverment . moving those people out of new orleans would had been as simpler as moving a army. first thing you do you get every working bus in the city moving people out. 1 call to the metro bus 1 call to all the school buses and several call to private bus company . AND YOUR DONE.

 

Is Call Cordination ! And Is Done Long Before Hurricane Season Starts!.

 

How ever local politicians dont cordinate well . they envy or hate each other and since each department have 10 head guys and they all have to agree to it . BY THEN YOU DROWN OR DIE OF LACK OF WATER before they all figure out what to say and do.
