Police and bad rep

I agree too dude, not all cops are bad cops. You gotta protect yourself too, don't drive around with a car full of roaches and empty bags, and pipes, and legalize marijuana books.

If they see that kind of shit and don't do anything they could lose their job. I think the key to not getting busted with pot is to keep it as private as possible. I never drive with anything incriminating in my car just in case, and if I am carrying bud it's only a joint or two that I rolled before going out never more then that.

 

i dont kno dude. cops are pretty much mandated by their job to be dicks. i mean they never question you in a polite manner, theyre always rude and very short with you. i also got fucked over by a cop who gave me a park curfew violation one time when i snuck out. (i kno i shouldnt have been in a park). a ridiculous ticket, but my parents were pissed nonetheless

 

this one time, a cop shoved a broom up my ass, and he was all, "tell me what i want to know" and i was all, "you keep that up, and i'm gonna do more than that, big boy" we then fag'd it up on the floor. he wasnt such a bad gay, i think he might of been a little queer though...

yeah okay, Im sure that there are nice cops, and yes I have met a few...
But all I know is yeah. where I live, near Philly, cops DEFINITLEY DEFINTLEY profile and shit all the time, they profile hippies and all, and the cops in my area have nothing else to do other than bust kids for weed. I live in a small town where there was never a murder and theres literally noooooo violence. The cops job in my town is thus to screw all the pot smokers and underage drinkers over.

Am I cool with that? No. Do I think that makes them honorable? Not at all.

I actually was smoking up with an ex-police officer two weeks ago,
and I asked him what it was like being a police officer, and he said "its soooo much god damn fun man, its so fun pissing the people off and arresting them and I loooooooove busting poeple for weed and alcohol."

of course he isnt every police officer, but I think you get my point.

Yeah.. I've never had a problem with cops. I generally manage to talk my way out of a confrontation with them, or avoid them all together.

As people, I generally don't have a problem with them, but I don't respect or like the job itself. I, personally, could live the rest of my life without ever seeing a cop again, and be pretty happy with it.

But yeah, they do a job. They make a paycheck. If they don't believe in it and never have, but enforce it anyway, they're not the kind of people I wanna be around. If they do believe in it, and enforce it because of that, then they don't really wanna be around me. So I'll just be polite and hide my illegal activities when I pass them on the street, and avoid them otherwise.

 

ugh. police. some are coming to my house in the next 30 mins to 'talk' to me about my offences. :|

they didn't know that i got arrested before either! sooo lucky.

they just gave me some long talk saying things like 'first it's alcohol, then it's cannabis, then it's ecstasy'. and how i felt being drunk, and how i could of been murdered/ raped etc.
pshht. bullshit. my house is 2 minutes away from where they picked me up, plus i was walking home with older guys.

 

Thats good that you didnt get charged with anything are you in alot of trouble with your parents or are they cool with it.

If you did get in trouble one good tactic to get them off your back is to cry and say your sorry and you dont want to disappoint them. Its pathetic but it works ive done it and a couple of my friends have too.

 

well my parents are pretty cool with it now, luckily. i'm not grounded or anything!

and hmm it generally only works with male police with me. whenever i cry infront of women police it just pisses them off.

 

not a big fan of the cop power obsession. if a cop is a good dude, has his mind straight and knows what the real problems are (eg not some kid hittin a pipe), then he's usually a good guy. a lot of cops are just in it for the power trip, though, it seems...
