They put 2 in my beer store, they pay off. Ive not played them tho.. they had 8 of them in the Tanning Salon <front for poker machines haha. I hit for 400$ straight flush. they was shocked because Id only tan and though what the heck drop a 20$ in for old times. back in my teen days we get in this bar at 18yr old. owner thought I was old I was in the Army reserves but we go in there and play for extra money to get a bag of weed.. Sometimes dropping a 5$ for the hope of winning 20$ back sometimes we did. And sometimes right back where we started at 00$'s..
Yes here in midwest USA several casinos, none real close. I enjoy a casino trip once in awhile. But being in my late 60's. I stay home, but look forward to things getting back to normal. Love video poker but play keno also.
We're about 5 hours drive from Las Vegas, but I've never gone to the strip - not really my thing. I'm 41, and the only time I ever went to Vegas was when I was 35 or so to attend a massive rave held at the race track. *EDC* (electric daisy carnival) is probably the most famous rave festival in the world, and as such it was REALLY crowded. I bailed and went back to the grimy hotel I'd booked. It was a 3-day affair, so there was plenty of time to know and understand those four walls; kind of like a short stay in county jail... LOL I think someone peed in the air conditioner... It was 112℉
Poker machines can be a bit of a mixed bag. I’ve played them a few times—had some wins, lost some too—but they’re not something I find myself drawn to anymore.
Honestly, it’s the stories I’ve heard and seen that stick with me, like people losing rent money or getting way too hooked. That kind of thing takes the fun out of it for me. These days, I prefer a more laid-back way to gamble. Online sites like http://bonusbet.com/ are where I go if I feel like spinning the reels.
Older thread now. People gambling on their phones. Casinos get old. Lotsa sports betting. less guardrails.
