"pokemon Go" Still A Thing, Or Have People Finally Outgrown It?

I never bothered to play it, but to be honest I haven't recently heard much about it.

what's to outgrow? as long as it doesn't cost anything.

i haven't had a phone since before it became popular,
and i seem to keep not getting around to getting another one,
though for reasons completely unrelated to the question.

do people 'outgrow' their fascination with machinery?
considering the popularity of the automobile,
i would sort of guess apearantly not.
