I know there have been threads like this before, but it's time for a new one. Which podcasts have you been listening to lately? Which are your favorites?
Democracy Now has been my go to lately, for in depth news analysis. Amy Goodman is bae And I just started listening to Murder, Etc which covers a local true crime story about a man who was wrongfully convicted for the murder of a sheriff
I listen to a show called podcast playlist on cbc radio....they feature a couple podcasts each week and it has always been good......their page https://www.cbc.ca/radio/podcastplaylist
Don't mind them but you do have to be really careful of what you say on them. Too many people can be offended by some people's comments.
The Joe Rogan Experience and Bill Burr’s Podcast. Joe Rogan had a really good 2hr segment with Bob Lazar (Area 51) a few months back. Bill Burr is hilarious!!
Rogan 1: They are too long 2: He is a bit of a dufus and not that funny. Like a lot of the guests he has on, but I just go for the 10 min highlight videos on youtube, not the 3 hr podcasts. He says some dumb stuff sometimes. Bill Burr, Theo Von much funnier
The newest podcast I watch is Lex Fridman's Artificial Intelligence. I rarely watch full episodes but he'll upload segments of it which I've seen quite a few of. Most of Fridman's guests are academics and scientists, although he does have some variety and a fair amount of them have been on the Joe Rogan Experience, which is actually where I first discovered Fridman. His conversations are a bit more dry than JRE and he'll discuss some of the same topics, but I think because he is also an academic, there is a different kind of rapport.
Not really, sure he was funny. Podcasts he seems to be more into politics, conspiracy theories, pop culture etc
I wouldn’t put much credence in VGs opinion of Joe Rogan, he would argue the aurora australis is more impressive than the aurora borealis ...lol...
Yes, he really digs deep into those topics, and I’m sure he makes the effort not to try to be funny on his podcast. Watch one of his stand ups on YouTube or Netflix. To me, he’s right up there with “Bill Burr” funny.
Tim Dillon. Great comedian I'm laying off conspiracy stuff. I catch this guy Mark for Deep Thoughts radio though, Mister Metokur does a live stream I'll catch, but I'm really too old for that. Crrow777 is good too.
