PLease tell me about promethazine and codeine.

30-50 mg of codeine is equal to 5 mg of Hydrocodone (Vicodin), so you can do the math as to how much to take. I wouldn't take the whole bottle since the promethazine will over-shadow the opioid effect and just make you fall asleep and not enjoy the Codeine. So be careful about the dosing.

 

etkearne pretty much nailed that one down. To really enjoy sipping syrup I would get a few Vicodin or Percocet and pop them on top while your sipping to really enjoy it. Like said tho just be careful and take it easy if you don't know your tolerance.

 

"Graduated" to codeine after finding paracetamol and aspirin were not doing it for my foot (varicose) ulcer pain. Helpful in small doses, but I was surprised at the level of drowsiness it caused, even when off the drug for more than 24 hours. Also, eating lots of fruit is helping to alleviate some of the constipation I was warned about.
