Please Stop Scaring People Off

It makes me sad that people are being scared away from this site because of stuff like this.

I understand that many people who are barefooters may have foot fetishes aswell but I think we should try to separate the different categories on the forum. Lets not turn the "bare-it nudism and naturism" part of the forums to another "Love and Sex" forum. Not everyone wants everything to be sexual and I think we should try keeping this in mind to avoid scaring more people away from here.

 

I agree naturism and going barefoot can be and are enjoyed sexually and non-sexually. It’s important to keep those two things in the forum separate. I mostly enjoy being barefoot and nude for non-sexual reasons. I see the health reasons and joy of having my feet and body exposed to the natural environment around me. The warm sun on my body, the textures of the ground beneath my feet including the dampness of wet grass or mud. There is so much more to being barefoot and nude than sex.
The pictures I have posted are meant to give a visual sharing of the joy I experienced while barefoot, not to excite someone sexually. I would like to read non-sexual barefoot experiences from hundreds of different people, that won’t happen if the site is hijacked by those seeking sexual thrills. There are forums that cater to that.

 

The strangulation one shocked me. In London alone, a person dies almost every week. It is the primary cause on a coroners report "Death by misadventure".
It is so common that it is the opening of the film and stage play, The Ruling Class. Less than 5% of people understand the scene.

 

Did you mean to post on the Barefoot page? But the concerns are probably the same there. Anyway, some of us wish the whole Bare It section could stay non-sexual, but then there are others who want the exact opposite. In spite of how much space Hipforums gives to sexual interests!

Years ago, I posted a picture of me sitting at my pc naked. It was from the back and was part of a conversation, if I remember correctly, about how fucking hot it was where I lived at the time.

Nope, the entire bare it section. I just focused on the barefoot part more because that's what the reddit post I saw was about

 

I wish people would look for their sexual tingles in some other forum, but very similar things can be sexual or not. I really don't see the point in making any body part into a fetish, but I can enjoy the idea of dirty feet--feet are our contact with the world, and if they're dirty, it's a sign that we're alive on the earth, carrying a little of it around with us. It's something to enjoy and compare with our friends, a good hippie virtue, I'll claim. And if that leads to personal attraction, then fine, plenty of things can do that. But make it a fetish, as if that's the whole point for you, and it stops being simple fun.
