Please help out, I'm clueless

I can't post a pic here, or anywhere else on line! The main problem seems to be that my pic files are too large. How can I make them small enough to post? I'm totally lost and frustrated. Thanks for any help you can offer.

What type are they? Other types are larger then some...

Pictures are pains...they really are.

 

I think they are jpeg...does that make any sense?

 

I'm assuming you mean that you can't post an image because the file size of the image is too large. In order to decrease the file size of the image you can compress it. Here is a tutorial that will teach you how to do this using infraview which is a free image viewing tool with a few handy features.

or the really easy way.....use paint. sure, you'll lose some img quality, but it's usualy not that noticable. Resize the image using stretch & skew of 50% or so until you're happy, and save it as a .jpg

Outta cut down on file size. works for me.

 

Aren't png's smaller?
