When are you going to really hit rock bottom? Do you really want to die? Is that it? Where do you REALLY think you'll be in 20 years? In a nice house with a career and kids with Dan? Not at this rate.

You keep telling yourself that you're not going to drink, but then you drink. You say you need help, but you always have an excuse why you don't go get help. Are you waiting until you kill someone while driving, maybe a young mother and her child? Or will you say that she cut you off and it's her fault?

You are an enabler. You seek people out to "help" them so that they will be "nice" to you and tell you what you want to hear. You don't want friends, you want enablers. Many of these replies are people telling you that they won't do that anymore, and you are panicking. I hope a judge really does force you into rehab, but it won't work unless you actually want to quit. If you leave rehab and go take a drink, then it's all just a waste of everyone's time. I have been reading this thread all along, and I haven't said much, because I come to these forums for entertainment. I don't really want to alienate too many people or that would ruin my ususal fun.

What scares the shit out of me is that I could very well be that Mother driving with my lil' ones and have someone like her (she sorta lives near me) end our lives or change them drastically all for her selfish pleasure.

If Dan hasn't left her now I doubt he will. Actually when I think about it he can't be much better than her. If he hasn't left a woman who cheats on him, is a drunk, a lier, a drug addict, and an attention whore I can't imagine what would be the reason for him to leave her.

I actually was feeling bad for her the other day. I felt like she needed a friend. I was trying to help her gain some peace in this whole situation and for what? For her to drink and act like a fool all over again.

"I will never drink again"....until later today when I can get to the package store.....
