by what you wrote, your rights were trampled on. a police oficer MUST TELL YOU WHY YOUR BEING ARESTED. get yout self legal reprentation. most laywers will set up payment plans

one other verry important thing, did you touch the oficer? an oficer can not lay a finger on a person unless they are being arrested, in which case they ar reqire by law to tell you why. but if you even so much as touched an oficer, they can consider it an asualt and usually beat the shit out of you. and its a hard thing to fight in court

wtf hiro. i never told you that... i at one point told you i was afraid of that and got tested and it came out negative....

Well, here is the honest to God trust... I was told to get in the car... and i said i wanted to know why i was being arrested first... yeah, maybe i said it in a mean way. im not denying that. i was told that they did not have to tell me why i was getting arrested.

I did not touch any of the officers at ALL.... they throw me to the ground, because i would not get in the car.

BTW... i was also NEVER read my rights and i even told the officers that and they told me that i watch too much tv and that they dont NEED to read me my rights. is that true?

 

BTW peanuts... thank you for apologizing. i apprieciatte it. and believe it or not, i do listen to when you people tell me i need help and all. honestly, it's my drinking that makes me act nuts... i dont mind being told that. thanks for apologizing for the way i was attacked about it.

this ques. is mostly for crummy but anyone can answer...

dan told me that the bail bondsman said that the papers he got said that i was being charged with resisting arrest (misdemeaor), disorderly conduct (misdemeanor), and public drunkenness (summery).... the papers that I got say resisting arrest (Misdemeanor), public drunkenness (sum.) and agg. assault on a police office (felony 2)....

i guess im a bit confused that there are two diff. charges on two diff. papers... i actually GOT my papers after i got outta jail (after the bondsman got his) but he got his after my arraignment (while i was in jail)...


do you have any idea if that could be a good thing?

i really just need to stop worrying... i am driving myself and my husband nuts. haha.

trish..were there witnesses? and (asking completely out of care) was this a wake up call? i hope so. i really do just want the best for you. i really do...it just gets maddening sometimes watching someone kick their own ass.

 

but, i already got arraigned... even though i didnt plead yet. i think the person i saw before i went to the jail on bail... i think that was the arraignment.

after being in that stupid holding cell for hours and hours, i appriciatte just being here sooooo much.

anyways, i have no idea if there were witnesses. someone took my glasses at the bar and i could not see at all since when its dark outside i am practically blind. (the police officers even told dan that my glasses were gone, so im gonna talk to my lawyer about that and hopefully use that as part of my defense.... as in i couldnt even see to try to kick someone).... but, i honestly have no idea if there were witnesses.

 

my papers say one thing and they are FROM THE JAIL..the bondsman said another.

in any case... im talking to lawyers tomorrow... i might just wait til then.

 

anyways can anyone answer what i asked cousinit a while back....

they never told me why i was being arrested OR read me my rights. NEVER.

i rarely drink, then i get a hangover after i do, like i have today, and i think, i am never gonna drink again....but...well...then i go to a party and overindulge again..perhaps i am getting old..

well then the paper you got at bail posting is official. usually when they incarcerate you, they wait for you to make bail so they dont have to charge you within 72 hours. I dont know. I think you need to worry. but I also think the felony will probably be dropped.
