I agree i couldn't be with anyone I didn't respect-that is the biggest quality I look for in a realtionship, you shouldn't have a fear of the person you are with but if someone really loves you they don't let you fuck up any further. I couldn't be anyone who would let me fuck up to that extent and i couldn't let someone bail me out of my problems repeatedly only to intensify them and create more down the road. How can you truley love someone when you cheat on them and drink youself to death-you can't and as a spouse how could you watch your partner do that without blowing up?

The insanity would kill me. I couldn't live like that. When I look at what Bill and I have in our marriage I think we compliment each other. If I am hurting he's there with me and vice versa. He'd never allow me to continue doing something to hurt myself nor I him. The thing is we have had our troubles, especially when we first got married but the choices we have made since then have only made the marriage more honorable. Sounds corny but I am thankful.
