A few weeks ago I bought a second hand 10''' notebook on E-bay and decided to put Firefox on it . Using the Bing search engine the top of the results was a site that turned out to be a mirror site but when I downloaded Fire fox it bundled this Playthru player that was a complete nuisance. Bundling with other software I consider to be deceptive and misleading. It would keep popping up with videos of testimonials of people who have made huge sums of money. When I tried deleting the the Playthru Player it would just reinstall itself. In the end I had turn back the notebook to earlier settings and I downloaded another edition of Firefox from www.mozilla.com Lesson, never trust Bing again. Yahoo search engine does not have this site so kudos to Yahoo. Obviously whoever made this playthru player was out to make money. Apparently the way to succeed in business is to be socially functional. This Playthru player is being about as socially dysfunctional as you can get.Whoever came up with this software is just wasting their life. The likes Microsoft ( apart from their Bing search engine), Google, Facebook and E-bay make money because they offer a useful service.
So you fucked up and didn't pay attention to if you were actually on the authentic Mozilla site. And you failed to un-check the boxes for the bundled softwares. My sympathies but the ownness is on you for this one. Never pick the top search anyway, especially with bing.
Most people aren't aware that there are other options. Brand new store-bought products come loaded with bloatware and free trials.
