I would think that it would be the opposite as half the population that uses PCs can barely operate a computer and use it for email. Mac OS X is based off unix which would attract many more power users.
exactly.. those people are called potential mac owners because they are too fuckin retarded to use a PC
I always forget that PS3 is out. I always think that PS2 is what is out right now, and then I realize that PS3 is. And then I forget again.
Yeah my lenovo sounds like total shit.. I hate it. I would love to throw this thing out the window into a pool of acid..... :hat:
mac just dumbs everything down so its users always think its so great and they HAVE to get into debates with pc users about why mac is so much better.
that's why they can't get any further in an argument than "pc's suck".. or spouting out whatever lil specs they actually may have remembered when they were reading the display.. example: Macbook Pro has one of the best graphics cards.. yea.. its a NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT... which any PC can carry as well..
i think once your used to p.c's its fine so long as you know your way around one but for layout macs win i think...you can pretty much use them to record professional sounding recordings too, im too used to a p.c now to get a mac
Mac is like the C64 of modern computer systems.. sure it does computer stuff and is flashy lookin.. but is mostly just used for recreation and aimed at such crowds.. even look at the PC vs Mac commercials with the 2 guys.. PC is for the nerdy guy while the Mac is for the cool Ambercrombie and Fitch wearin hipster
iv never owned a mac so im still on the p.c side but macs are more useful for a few things than p.c's and vise versa, theres not really that much difference between the two
My Sonar 8 recording setup would love to differ with you. I mean GarageBand is cool and all, but just not anywhere near industry standard. It may be based off unix, but it is nowhere near unix. The Mac OS is very dumbed down. Hence why many power users aren't using it. You forget the Mac OS has been around forever, lately getting popular thanks to marketing and slightly better build quality. Your Mac can not compare to my hand-built custom PC running Vista.
your right but did you have to pay extra for Sonar? and yeah its not going to be top quality but in the right hands its definitely usable
That was the most retarded statement ever. Like the operating system has anything todo with how loud your case, cpu or video card fans are -_-
