I've had cosmetic surgery for a deformity of my chest wall/breasts, though it was a relatively small surgery. I'd do it again in a New York minute.
Botox is far from safe and easy. If the chemicals for botox is even the slightest bit off (which it often is), it can kill you. And if they inject it even slightly off from where you should be getting it, it can kill you. Most plastic surgeons never think to check their bottles and ingredient ratios of each botox vile, so it results in awful infections, diseases, and deformities.
I generally have the same opinion as I do on most things. I think it's personal choice, and no matter what you decide, as long as you're happy with yourself, you'll inevitably find someone who is happy with you too, whether you have had plastic surgery or not. I, personally, would not get plastic surgery because I believe natural is better in the long run. But both sides have their pros and cons.
I had watched it on Dr. Oz about botox - which can be found on his website. However, the reason I know the dangers is because my aunt had gone to get an injection done from a "reputable" surgeon. After many consultations and deliberation, she decided to go through with it. 2 hours after her injection, she was in the hospital with an awful reaction due to bad bacteria in the botox itself. After spending a few days in the hospital on a respirator due to poor breathing and falling in and out of consciousness, the doctor she talked to said that over 60% of plastic surgeons in the US did not check the injections they were given to see if they had the right chemical balances - which is what ultimately led to my aunts illness. Her left eye lid (she only got one injection at the appointment) is permanently drooped now because of it. In MOST CASES at reputable places, botox is safe. However, why would anyone want to spend money on something to change their appearance when there are risk factors that could do permanent damage all for vanity? Doesn't seem worth it to me to spend insane money to have even the slightest risk of permanent damage if you ask me...
Karen, that's what they suggest. Really pick the doctors brain to make sure it is real and that they are thorough with the entire process.
Huh. Well obviously, pictures would help, as we're talking about your appearance.... but I very highly doubt that you'd come out looking better.
by pointing i'm sure she means defined - here a picture of plastic surgery i'd consider to have gone well (literally the first image i came across).
My wife has the cutest little A cup titties, and she breast fed both of our daughters with them. What would be the point of injecting some sort of plastic into them? I want a T-shirt that says "I'm a lifetime member of the A-cup fan club!" My wife could wear one "Lifetime Member of the IBTC." I just don't get cutting off your nose to spite your face, or injecting plastic into various body parts. But then that's just my opinion. Let some man walk up to my wife and say "Your tits are too small." I'll punch him right in the gonads and say "So is your penis."
