Places to sleep in Savannah

So im hitching down the east cost and ill be passing through savannah soon, im not familiar with the area at all tho, are there any parks or woods i can camp out in?

 

you're in luck.. there is a park about every block in downtown savannah

 

Are they big? Do the cops frequent them?

 

you would have to sneak it. mostly its just city squares with benches. There are only a couple parks downtown, but i dont think u could get by with setting up camp there.

 

If you don't mind camping a little further down the coast (near Darien), a lot of hip folks stay at Hostel in the Forest.
