also you'll find that many libras have virgo influence as well considering the faster moving planets mercury and venus never venture far from the sun. and pisces is opposite virgo in the zodiac. ive met quite a few people of one sign always finding themselve attracted to their polar sign

Since I started paying attention to astrology I started to notice that I was attracted to Virgos. I have a t-square with the missing leg in virgo, and Virgos give me balance when they become important in my life. My other missing leg sign is Capricorn; both earth. I need stable people in my life who know about money and career. Opposites are second to conjunctions as aspects, and tell us a lot about ourself through our opposite relationships.

 

so are you saying the most important aspect is the conjunction?

ive read a brief analysis of the personality differences you find between people with many conjunctions and people with none. what do you think these differences are?

 

ive felt that way about oppositions too. ive noticed that alot of parents and children are almost exact polars. my adopted mother, born on a lunar eclipse july 17th, had a son born on a solar eclipse january 15th. my aunt march 14th had a daughter september 11th. my grandmother a libra had a son and aries etc etc.

 

I think the conjunction is the strongest aspect, but not always the most important aspect in a birth chart.

I think, and this is just off the top of my head; but I think that people with many conjunctions are going to be very self absorbed. I think people with very little conjunctions in their chart are not inner directed; even directionless, and reliy much less on oneself, and may lack confidence. A conjunction is akin to Aries and the first house, each being first and indicating a self absorbtion and many make a person rather opinionated and self centered.

i have alot of conjunctions (squares and oppositions) and i am incredibly self absorbed with many focuses.

i have a really cool kinda unique/multi layered-->(because of the stelliums)grand cross, a perfect rectangle made from two trines and two sextiles and a perfect arrow made from two quincunx aspects and one semisextile and a grand trine if you consider a larger orb for a trine between chiron and mars.

 

Indicating a lot has happened, is happening, and will happen in your life.

 

can i ask how you new this indication, was it because of the many geometrical shapes or idk, this i dont understand? like if i were to look at someone elses chart i would know that maybe, in their case, something might indicate that not much HAS happened but much WILL happen?

 

Do you do any predictive astrology? Transits, progressions?

 

this is what i am just now getting into, after staying and trying to understand the stationary natal chart.

 

Transits are visits in the sky right now by planets to the place your natal planets were when you were born.

Say you have Venus at 7 degrees Libra nataly. Now Saturn right now in 2006 lets persume reaches 7 degrees of Aries in say March. That would be a transitting oposition beween Saturn and your Natal Venus. Current planets movement affects your birth chart, so you can see future trends. It's a big, big, concept, and it took me months to finally accept astrology enough to believe in predictive workl. So you can interpret this aspect as Saturn teaching you hard lessons about love.

Anyway, how bout those Mets?

 

ah right, right now i am exp a turbulance of hard aspects of saturn to both my natal moon and venus. and jupiter is joining my natal saturn between scorpio and sag (saturn being 1 sag degree i think)....and mars joining my natal venus in scopio 19 degrees....and particually today: my progressed sun conjunct the moon pluto conjunction in the sky today ...i was particually agitated, intense, and considerably angry grrrrr.

 

started following and drawing aspects when i discovered that astro.com provides personal transits as a horoscope.

 

oooh not to mention saturn transiting my 12th house was rough, i was glad when it reached my 1st house
