I suppose I'll stop being tested pretty soon because my probation officer said three months three months ago :)
and i'm thinking about getting me a nice pipe instead of making bongs every day
so i have two questions :
    what's better....metal or ceramic?
and how often do i have to change the screens
or - how do i know when i have to change the screen?
btw i smoked a joint 2 weeks ago and passed the tests :D

hmm i dont think i ever smoked out of a ceramic pipe. so i'd go with metal i guess...

you should change the screen when it gets so clogged you can't see through it. but its not hard to clean it.

I'm not the biggest fan of metal pipes...I'd go with ceramic.

    Why not glass?

I used to have a ceramic bong but it wasnt as good as a glass one. If you want to get a good pipe, get a spoon or bubbler, you will love it.

I refuse to smoke out of anything but glass and stone.

may i ask why? i always enjoy the taste of a plastic hookah (with a metal bowl of course)... if its made right it can be enjoyable.

If I had to choose between metal and ceramic I'd go with metal, and change the screen when smoke no longer pulls through smoothly.

Why not go with a nice glass spoon with no screen? That's my top choice.

I dislike the taste of metal and synthetics, and I don't like inhaling chemicals with my herb.
