Pineapple Express blows

Yeah but you can say that about any movie with pot smokers in it. Would you label True Romance a stoner movie because of Brad Pitt?

 

I never really said I thought it sucked as a movie, I just said I was sick of it.

 

Oh yeah I'm sick of it too. Any movie that gets quoted nonstop I can no longer watch til its not a 'fad' anymore. i.e. every teen comedy in the last 5 years.

 

um, half baked, sucked. i mean, HE FUCKING QUIT SMOKING!!!

what kind of stoner movie is that.

But the comedy in the movie is directly targeted to stoners, just like Dazed and Confused, there's actually not that much smoking or drinking in it, but it's one of the all time stoner movies

 

If someone was strictly against pot use they could still easily enjoy Super Troopers over PE

 

Now Super Troopers, there is a movie I think sucks horribly. The only scene I thought was even decent was the last scene.

 

i can, because it did. it sucked alot. should it not have been for a few somewhat decent scenes, i would consider it the worst ever.

 

Then you just have bad taste in comedy is all. Don't worry, one day you will learn.

nah, its retarded and typical, just like a large percent of average stoners, and just like a waaaaaay too fucking large percent of average peoples.

really, it sucked ass. apart from the pretty colours, and cuban dude and his crackhead dog, it blew. If you wana know whats funny? pick of destiny was funny, grandmas boy and harold and kumar were funny, fuck even how high was funny to some extent, but half baked is just over hyped.

I think its something to do with chapelle being big in america.

 

I'm with you on Grandmas Boy, but that dog was lame, the cuban guy was no better then the rest of them. And Harold and Kumar is shit. Absolute shit. I mean there funny I guess but nothing special at all.

 

Grandma's boy sucked ass, and Chappelle wasn't big yet when Half Baked came out

Going by our ages, I think there's a new generational divide in comedy at people that who are 18/19 line, we must tell the world!

 

Seriously Pineapple Express was lame. It was a major let down. Vastly over rated.

I really hated how the main character seemed to be yelling through out the whole film. I didn't find anything to like about him either. He annoyed me.

The plot was weak and simple, seemed like this film was the mastermind of two guys with stunted mental development who had a collection of "good ideas for a movie" that by some sick twist of fate were all-of-a-sudden funded to create a film. Hence there are a few tid bits scattered in the movie that were almost funny but the storyline and characters were awful. After I was done watching it I was thinking, what a waste of an hour or more. I could have been more entertained getting stoned and watching the shadows move across the room as the day goes by.

I would have to say this could be the worst so called "stoner" film I have ever seen.

 

I've seen super troopers way to many times..

 

Grandma's Boy sucks. Covert is NOT funny and a horrible actor

 

This further proves my generational difference in comedy at around 18 theory haha
