pills = the new marijuana

pills are stupid. it is too bad that the legality of marijuana is keeping the herb down and making it easier and more desirable to take pills. like it was said before you can pop a pill and no one will know.....but smoking weed? everyone in a half mile will smell the shit i have right now! Purple Kush!!!

 

yea people of all ages ashapes and sizes have access to all kinds of pills for all kinds of different things. Kids are doped up now days by their lazy ass parents and teachers.

 

Like was mentioned before, the smell can get you caught. You can smell reefer or booze on someone, but not pills. That could be a contributing factor in all this.

 

i really think that is it. you can be fucked up and have no incriminating smell.....i still say, no on pills.

 

I worked at this factory last year, and I never saw so many drug deals in one place. I mean the entire floor was a pain killer heaven. My first night someone came up to me on my smoke break and asked me if I know where to find any tabs. By the time I made it half way back to my machine, somebody offered me tabs. I would be a liar if I said I didn't make any money from the situation, but it was CRAZY. You couldn't walk from one side of the place to the other without just noticing at least a couple deals. Though it may sound like it, this is not an exaggeration.... sp? Even the friendly maintenace guy was dealing out liquid loratab. Taking shots of the shit out in the open.

Needless to say I didn't work there for very long.

It may be a phase of the decade? I watched ''the drug years'' on VH1 and they seemed to think that though all drugs exhisted, certain ones had there high points in different times. LSD in the 60's, pot in the 70's, coke in the 80's. Ecstacy in the 90's.
I know it was on VH1 of all places, but the shit kinda made sense.

They also mentioned on how in the 60's people did drugs to free their mind, and to open up to a new horizon. In the 70's they started taking them for the sole reason of getting 'twisted'. 80's - to dance all night and feel more powerful than they actually are. 90's - because all of the 'cool' people are doing it.

What do you guys think?

 

pharmaceticals are more readily available at my high school, as well as other schools i know people at than weed is. at any given time its easy to find vicodin, percocets, xanax, valium, klonopin, adderal, ritalin, and whatever other downer, muscle relaxer, upper, whatever the fuck people eat these days...yet sometimes hooking up a sack of bud is a hassle...it's sad.

young people seem to like pills but there discret, can be eaten at school, have consistent effects, gaugeable doses...

i dont like to eat pills. ive seen to many people do stupid things on them, spend money they couldnt on them, and have a general shift in their personalities. ive taking most before. they make you feel nice. wow. i can feel nice on my own. i want something thats going to shift my perception, show me something i cant easily find on my own. i don't profess to be a drug guru in any sense, but i think theres something wrong with the motivations for use in a lot of people.

 

i take vicodin & muscle relaxers everyday for medical reasons; i had a "friend" steal my meds because she was addicted to them and smile to my face acting like she had done nothing wrong. it is a sad world when friends steal from friends to maintain their high. i don't get buzzed off of them or feel "nice". it takes the edge off of the pain so i can function like a somewhat normal person. if i didn't need the damn things i could make a killing selling them. as soon as people find out i have them they inevitably ask if i want to sell any. no, i don't.

 

i dont mind pills but they will never ever replace marijuana...they are two totally different substances. they really can't be compared to one another.

 

thats a good point, they are more accessable than weed but definately not as enjoyable

 

pills= addiction...i spent 5 years of my life stickin needles in my arm because of heroin addiction it all started with percs...opiates are TERRIBLE.Stay away!!!physical addiction sucks and once you realize you have a problem its WAY too late...ive been clean for three years and ill never go back!!! i just lost my 24 year old brother on may 5 of last year to a h and xanax overdose.words of wisdom from a battle scarred vet of the drug world STICK with the green and if you are so young you have to hide it from your parents, you should be focusing on school for now ,they'll always grow weed youll have plenty of time to smoke ,be SAFE, priorities first ,a big part of being a "HIPPY" is being a responsible person not just a cool person....*PEACE*

yea, im being tested now,(only 6 more weeks ) and now i use percriptions since they get outta your system faster. but id MUCH rather be smoking bud. plus i dont use pills nearly as much as i smoked.

but your kinda right. percriptions and OTC drugs are the drugs that will define our generation probably. the 60s had acid, 80s had E, and now the 2000s have perscriptions. it sucks but thats the way it is.

either way though, percriptions arnt bad as long as its in moderation. just like everything else. and by far the funnest percription ive found so far is ambien(Zolpidem) since you hallucinate and trip out pretty crazy.

and why is this in a music forum?
