I think I make them last a bit too long. Like, they first have to bother me for awhile and then some time after that I replace it. Surely more than 2 years, probably 4
Since this thread was bumped I guess I could take a moment to tell you...you're wrong about race but you were right about this No more lumpy pillows for moi
I'm heading out to buy a pillow having encountered this thread last night. I think I will go to Macy's to get it.
I had one made recently by this small family company in good ole homeland, and they added a lil lavender. It still smells nice.
This action is useless to me. Same with sleeping on your belly and face down in the pillow. In fact, I do not trust people who do this frequently! Gulag material for sure
I have found the perfect pillows: they are the ideal softness, material, and comfort level. I have not been able to find them again so I guess I will try and keep them forever.
I did buy a new pillow after all. A Martha Stewart Collection pillow no less... they're supposed to "never" go flat (this is from the store's employee). I already wore out one of them but it took awhile so I feel like I'm getting my money's worth.
i go through a lot of them i use one for my head ..one under an arm and the third one is for between my knees if i dont use the knee one i wont be able to walk the next day due to back pain
My wife and I have 4 pillows on our bed. We have 2 with memory foam but we don't like these so they are designated hugging pillows. Now we hug each other but at some point during the sleep you know, fucken hair in my mouth. So I roll over and hug this pillow. They are both the same so we interchange them daily, that way I'm still breathing in her scent while I cuddle it. Then we have two flatter pillows. Now when I was camping last week I got so used to my old throw away camping pillows that I had a sore neck for days because my home pillows were so thick. To complicate matters, I tend to throw my arm under the pillow as I find it comfortable to sleep like that. I'm not sold on memory foam. I enjoyed it for a while but it seemed like it stopped working and just became this ugly pillow with a flat spot.
i do that a lot too. but then my arm falls asleep and i have to switch sides. and a lot of times my bottom arm falls asleep even if it's not under the pillow. lately, i've even had my top arm fall asleep a few times, for no reason at all that i can figure. it's probably why i'm single; nobody sharing a bed with me can sleep while i'm flopping around all night trying to wake up one or both of my arms.
Yeah I struggle to know where to put my arms. They don't feel right sitting by side and I find it difficult to sleep on my back. So usually one arm under, one arm over pillow I kinda pull one leg over the pillow too like I'm gripping it, like I'm rubbing up a palm tree.
