You should be his partner! You guys could be like Roscoe Peco Trane and Cletus or whatever the fuck his name was. Or like Cagney and Lacey! All fat and shit. Ah, it's just an idea.
My brother is a cool cop. He doesn't bust people for small amounts of weed because he recognizes this takes up valuable jail space. My sister-in-law isn't that cool though.
First of all, of course there are law enfrcement personnel watching us. If you EVER thought otherwise, shame on you. Second, I have heard many a perrson defend officers by citing examples of officers breaking the law or making exceptions for the people they know. Good for you, I'm glad you know a cop that will let you go or get you off the hook. BUT, that is more symptomatic of their corruptness than their humanity. Those cops may be better than your straight out Pig, but they are still bloody hypocrits. And those nice cops could give a rats ass if you are just some anonymous person breaking one of their laws. God forbid you challenge their authority. Whatever, just be aware that we are living in a survailance society
blah blah blah blah.......... see its people like you who give all cops bad names...ya know whats funny, you're sitting here complaining and whinning about how bad cops are, and yeah some are... But if someone was attacking you or robbing you and such, who would you be crying for to help you, a policeman... Please dont give the impression that all cops are fucks and shit. CAUSE NOT ALL ARE... Im just protective of my baby brother and he is one of the best people I know...
I talked to a drugs intelligence guy a while ago in a car boot sale he was selling all his old books . anyway he understood that the drugs he was arresting people for selling were less dangerous than the legal drugs , but he was still happy to put people in prison for the rest of their lives for selling them . I asked him if he would arrest people for selling cream cakes if the government told him to he said yep , I asked him how about baked beans he said yes he would arrest people and if the courts put them away for life he would be happy with that too . because that was the law and he just enforced the law . I said jews they are behind all the evil in the world surely... we should arrest them to ...and then the courts could deal with them too ...send them to camps and such would you be happy arresting jews ...he said well thats not the same, I said yes it is you know the laws you enforce are wrong ,just like lots of german cops knew arresting jews was wrong but they did it anyway .. and in nuremburg saying you were just obeying orders wasnt a defence .
Good point jonny2mad. The reason why I'd never become a cop is because I could never fully agree with every single law.. and as a lawenforcer you have to live by those laws (like everyone else) and even correct others .. I could never do that. I could work in The System I suppose, but 'on the good side'.. like trying to change things or working in an inmate facility as a counselor or sth like that.. (I've been writing with US prison penpals for several years now).. And if people say that they've become a cop because they want to 'serve' the community than I think there are plenty of organisations that will help doing so. Although, completely getting rid of the police force isn't an option either, since there are real crimes (murder, rape) that someone has to prevent or take care of.. unless you could create a very social community where people help eachother and take care of criminals themselfs. Amitai Etzioni (communitarist.. note.. that's different from communist) has interesting ideas on that.
If I may interject...law-enforcement generally DOESN'T follow the law when it comes to investigation; their job is to catch criminals, and they occasionally will bend the law when it means getting the job done. The guy running head Narcotics position with our local Sheriff's department is REAL shifty; for example, when he was SRO at my high school he was bangin' this 16-year-old girl (he was 30+ at the time). He drinks all the time, and recently he was arrested for DWI in his cruiser ON THE CLOCK! They had to keep him in solitare because he would have been killed if he were to be put in a cell.
Here are two different things: 'the police' aren't civilians and therefor they have slightly different laws for them.. like.. they can hold someone prisoner.. you and I are not allowed to do so. This is inevitable for them to do their jobs. The second thing is about policemen not obeying the law they should enforce. That is plain wrong and they know that.. it's because of human nature and corruption that these things happen. It's sad.. but there's one in every group.. it'll be very hard to avoid this.. I feel that policemen in these situations should be punished harder than civilians, because they are lawenforcers.. whatcha think?
Let me put this into a context that may make my statement a bit more concise: Jonny sells appleseeds, which are Schedule 1 substances; Officer Hogsnout has been assigned to his case. Officer Hogsnout's first operation is to run surveilance on Jonny; unfortunately, Hogsnout lacks any evidence and therefore the warrant to tap his phone as well. Hogsnout decides to tap his phone anyway, and finds out where Jonny's next big deal is. So Hogsnout casually strolls up to the deal, arrests Jonny and charges him with Posession of a Schedule 1 Hallucinogen with the Intent to Distribute. In court, however, Pigsnout does NOT require the phone tap to be used as evidence in his case to convict Jonny; ergo, no notice of the tap is even recognized by the State, placing Jonny in the comfort of the finest penetentiary imaginable. Obviously in Jonny's case I'm going to have disagree with the underhanded bending of the law (as I am particularly fond of appleseed myself), however, in crimes involving violence, robbery, etc., I understand that it's occasionally necessary and I wouldn't bat an eye at such a thing.
open your damn eyes and realize what your talking about shut your damn mouths and you won't have to worry always look for the hippies with clean shoes and you always find the undercover!!!!
hi all, keep it real, drugs are bad, drugs are bad,i can`t quite remember who said that.hahahahaha everything in morderation then you`s will be good ,especially the paranoid ones .

I have tons of good books I could sell from the boot of my car. sweet. anyway, if I ever had the misfortune to be hassled for smoking weed, I am pretty sure I would ask the cop if he does steroids. Most of the cops around here do steroids. I'd prbly ask this question even though it would only serve to get me a severe beating/hasslement. Why would I ask it? Cause it would prove to the cop who does steroids that he has no right to arrest me AND if he was on 'roids and flew into a roid rage I would certaintly endure a beating for some settlement from the gov't for police brutality. whoohooooo. I'm gonna be rich!! I'll certainly remember those still struggling when I'm rich. Don't worry.
Cops down this a way overreacted & blew an innocent mans' shit away and got away with it. A case of mistaken identity...oops. Tell THAT to a little girl who misses her Daddy.Be careful y'all .
....AND.... DID YOU KNOW.... THAT PIGS ARE BORN WITH TEETH AND HAVE THEIR EYES OPEN? So cool to see! ".... all those little piggies...living piggy lives...."Beatles, not to change the subject, something I just remembered.
There are cops on here. Some out in the open. My hubby's an airforce cop and did come here often. No worries though. He couldn't care less what the hell goes on in y'all's lives. He just likes to debate, argue, and otherwise have fun on the boards.
