Piercing...

    Look at yourself in the mirror really hard. Where do you think a piece of metal would look best in. If it's going to be a facial (otherwise visable) piercing, I suggest you think long and hard about it. If you are doing it to rebel because it's not allowed in your old school and will be allowed now, don't do it. Someone should only get a piercing if they want it.

    I never got a piercing because I just wanted a piercing. I always got a piercing because I wanted that specific piercing. It took me a couple years between each piercing until I was finally satisfied with my look. However, my piercings fit well with my face and help to bring out certain features. Think about what you are doing and never ask someone what they think would look good. You should always have a pure connection to your piercing or you are getting it for all the wrong reasons and might end up regretting it someday.

    Even if you think it is trendy or cliche or the most obsene/odd piercing ever, if it fits who you are, go for it. Remember, it's your body and you will have to live with it, not anyone else.
