Yesterday's barefeet of mine, the first picture on them in the morning on my way to this week's Saturday shift, and the second at night, at the bus stop, after visiting a couple of pals.

    Still barefoot whenever possible,

And to keep with the topic: One picture of the barefoot past (in a computer lab back in college):

Historical Feet. In 1962, when I was 18 years old, I took my drawing pad into the bathtub and drew my feet for hight school art class. My art teacher knew I was weird - but art teachers were the most accepting of weird kids.

Well, I grew up but am still weird. Today I decided to pose my feet just as I did 46 years ago.

My feet hardly get any rest...

    But they're used to it!

Guess they've learned to adjust quickly by now! Hehe...

Well, no wonder - with soles like that!

Hey, first of all, do you still read these forums? Because I see that you've only made two posts back in February. If you do, just wanted to let you know that for a guy, you have nice looking feet. :) Looks like you take good care of them. You don't get pedicures by chance, do you? Hopefully you don't hide those beautiful feet all day in foot coffins!

Yes, this can happen. And, within one weekend, too.
Having just returned from a 3-day Goa party which took part about 2 hours by train (well, including waiting times of changing trains on stations: 3.5 hours), I decided to share a few pictures with you. It was a perfect three days of barefooting, including some dancing to rather good psytrance music. I had packed a pair of emergency flip-flops (or thongs, if you prefer), but they remained unworn.
And I still have two weeks of vacation left (and one week already behind me...) - so, a guaranteed three weeks of constand barefooting.

There is also a little special in a separate post of mine... so, please bare with me (how much ever you wish, but at least your feet, please) and enjoy the pictures.

As I was about to depart from the party, relaxing before packing up my troubles and heading to the train station, I decided to capture my happy feet:

As I returned home, I surely felt that the soles had become a bit softer, but still thick. Furthermore, walking on grass and only occasionally small gravel was the best thing my city feet could get. However, at one point I also had to fight a little with mud - the very liquid and slippery kind... I can happily report, that I skidded and slided a lot, bit didn't slip or fall. *LOL*

Soles on coming home, and the dryness on them:

So, I decided to use what I always use for getting the moisture back into my soles: bag balm - which you can get in Germany at quite low prices as no-name products from any drugstore over here.

One might say, for short: I greased up my soles.

oh,yes, there's a little crack on the heel...

But the toes look alright, don't they...?

So, here's one pair of barefeet out in the green, and several shots of foot care. And, yes, I do apply the balm on my dirty feet. That also adds to a darkish tone on my soles. I want my barefooting to be visible.

So, here I am, happily wiggling greasy toes.
And, be sure, it was a great Goa party, including meeting lots of barefoot and happy elves and fairies there - and the occasional troll as well... yep, they had that written on one of the toilet wagons: "Elves" and "Trolls" instead of "Ladies" and "Gents" .

Well, that's it. I continue my chilling-out at home... barefoot all over, and having had a nice spliff in farewell to that party until next year.

Waiting for your replies (and countless praises of course... hey, that's what self-esteem is for after all, innit??? *LOL*),

After coming home, and caring for my soles, I decided to play a bit with my picture processing software (it's free on TUCOWS...) called VCW VicMan's Photo Editor.

This is the original picture I used (from the series I shot last night):

And, after playing around a bit, these are the results:

    1. Color-clouded feet:

(The Tengwar in the bottom right corner reads the title and date:
    "Color-clouded feet - August 11, 2008").

    2. Feet in colored mist:

(The Tengwar is hard to read on this background, but here applies the
same as above, i.e. title and date:
"Feet in colored mist - August 11, 2008").

A few barefoot steps into creativity, so to speak. :)

As you could see above, I did some foot care after returning from a very nice open-air Goa party last weekend.
After having applied bag balm onto my soles - for moisturizing reasons - I decided to not leave it at that, but rather give myself a nice and greasy footrub. That felt nice, got the circulation going and keeps the skin moist and supple. That sort of balm can also be used for massages, BTW, and is great for coldfooting as well, as the grease film keeps the feet warm.

Well, here comes the first series of pictures taken after treating my feet yesterday - the toes:

    1. Romantic toes (two pictures where I used a Zippo to light the scene):

    2. White-light toes (lit with a small LED flashlight):

One thing, that I realized after taking these pics is, that I certainly need a good digital camera. The little built-in one in my cell phone just isn't good enough for more than snapshots.

    The toes series will continue...
