Thanks. I can't wait until the weather is a little more clement and feet can come out again. Although I'm barefoot at home all the time and often at work, being barefoot outside in winter just doesn't do it for me

Well, today was a perfect barefoot day, weather-wise. With low temperatures of 50 F (10° C) in the early morning and high temperatures of about 56 F (a bit above 13° C), today called for 100 per cent barefooting, on the way to work, during work and afterwards, on the way home with a stop at a supermarket, doing some grocery shopping.

Since I can be barefoot full-time on Saturday shifts, I didn't bother to pack any flip-flops or the like (I can get away with flip-flops on milder days, and can slip out of them under my desk easily).

So, it was barefoot on the way to work (subway, early morning):



and, if you ever went barefoot on the tube, you know, that the
tile floors there get your soles soot black. After a way of about 50
metres from the subway platform to an underground bus stop, they
looked like this:

On going back, my toes were happy to see a little sun.

All in all, one nice barefoot day. But of course, I was the sole barefooter
(yep that pun was intentional *LOL*).

here was also 13 or 14° C today. didn't manage any pictures, but went for a nice barefoot bikeride... ganesha, you're a brave man riding the tube barefoot

 

Well here it got up to around 50° f! Nice sunny day, so off came the flipflops and out to the trail for me. Walking around bf on the trail was a fun and a good break from the winter blues. The snow was melting and the ground was mossy and a little muddy - love squishy mud. Patches of snow and water - brr - kept my feet fairly clean and the black top of the trail was actually warm. Here are a few pics.

Today I went to the farmers market for lunch, then to the post office, then to school and then out for an ice cream. I didn't wear shoes once today. I'm not sure if my soles are ever coming clean. [LOL]
