My feet again

 

it's as dirty here as any other big city.

 

have you got any pics of how dirty ur feet are after a day of walkin round barefooot?

(Woohoo, first ever post in the barefoot forum!)

For now, I don't really have any new pics on my comp, so here's an old one, but it's one of my faves (makes me look more laidback and carefree than I perhaps actually am ):



It's old, though (I currently have a beard). However, I have been doing a good bit of barefoot hiking in the woods this year, and I'll even be going on a barefoot hike later this week with a barefooter friend who will also be going in her bare feet with me! So once I get the pics from these scattered hikes uploaded from my camera and from my phone, I'll be sure to post them here.

doesn't anyone go barefoot in "bad" weather?

 

I wonder what you mean by bad weather? After all, my feet are waterproof.



I do my barefooting in sun, rain, wind or fog. I only meet my limits in wet weather, when air temperatures get close to freezing level. On sunny days I have mastered slight frost as well.

As for rain:



There's nothing bad about it.

Yes, i quite like going barefoot in bad weather as long as it's above freezing when dry, and over about 50 F when wet. I've been able to go barefoot all this winter, as it has been unseasonably warm (by UK standards!). I plan on going on a hike tomorrow.

After having the opportunity to feel snow underfoot just yesterday, today was a milder day and I took a walk around my place, including walking on the same lawn, where I took the snowfooting picture.

Today's toes in the grass:





As you can see, not all of the snow had molten, so that I had the beautiful occasion to feel cool and wet grass underfoot, soft earth giving way under my soles and a bit of slush, adding another barefoot sensation.

Winter can be a delightful barefoot season, for sure.

oh man... you should see them now. i wasn't a 100% of the time barefooter then. i've got rough spots.

I like my feet. I'm rather attached to them. I think they're cute, like hobbit feet. Man, I'm going to full-time barefoot as soon as I get to the US. Biking barefoot across America... wicked!

Ganesha... you have such lovely feet. They look joyful
