@barefootPatrick, have you ever tried Urea cream? I started getting heel cracks and bought some 40% Urea cream off Amazon. It really works well, the cracks are gone and my soles and heels just look better. I liken it to a well conditioned leather baseball mitt vs. one that is dried out and cracked. The former is stronger and more resilient.
No I never tried that particular cream. I usually applied a thin film of Vaseline along the edge of my heels to prevent the cracks from advancing too far up the side of my foot.I don’t mind the cracks at all. After they heal it seems like my heel got thicker and even more resilient to rough surfaces.

Not like yours, but thick enough for most conditions. Also very strong and flexible. It's summer and I'm retired, so that means no...shoes...ever! (Although winters here can get to 30 below zero...I'm not insane.)
I had pretty good feet until a few months ago. 2 dislocations and 2 broken toes.....left one aint so good now. MW
OMG.......We Could Be Twins......13 Years Mid-August Here... 100%.....(16th i think)...... Cheers Glen.
Another week of barefoot camping! It's been great to spend so much time in a natural environment in bare feet. Here's my soles after hanging out near the black soot and ashes from around our firepit all week. Dirty and happy!
After a short stroll around town. I've rotated the crap out of this and it keeps coming in sideways. Sorry.
