My soles last night after a day spent barefoot, a lot of tar still stuck to them haha. It was wonderful fun and felt amazing with so many different surfaces. Also some old pics from various barefoot adventures since the start of 2015:
My feet on public transport in London. At least I don't put my shoes on the seats! [sharedmedia=gallery:images:152397] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:152396] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:152395] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:152394] [sharedmedia=gallery:images:152393]
I was at sea for 11 days last month on a cruise to Barcelona. BTW, to commemorate the Atlantic Crossing, I got a new Tat in Barcelona.
My foot after a day of downtown barefooting. Bad quality photo, but I was too lazy to find better lighting.
My feet wandering about my new job. It is very dry and dusty here so my feet never end up looking that dirty.
Here are mine on a cruise ship in the Atlantic And with my commemorative tattoo I got in Barcelona And, me sitting on a actual Anchor with my new tat off La Rambla in Barcelona
A recent footie pic I took in my van after a day in the fields walking the dogs ...............and an interesting pic of a my sole. I had accidently stepped in a load of resin recently and the excess filled the cracks in my heels. It will wear off I'm sure, but until then it looks incredibly dark and 'hardcore' lol Shayla xx
Yesterday, I had an epiphany! I was out back, in the edge of the woods picking stones & broken tree limbs & raking sticks & leaves. All of a sudden, I realized that I was walking around in the woods on all of the debris on the ground barefoot! I hadn't intentionally gone out there trying to do new things barefoot. It just happened and it didn't even bother my feet at all. I knew that my feet were getting more used to going without footwear, but never realized how natural it would feel in any situation. I'm coming to the conclusion that footwear is not necessary in most situations. People have just gotten soft & rely in footwear to much.... myself included until recently! Just think what would happen to the footwear industry if everyone started realizing that they were wasting money buying so many shoes, boots, sandals, slippers, etc.
