I'm originally from New England but now live in Oregon. I went to a family gathering back home and decided that as long as I'm in New England I'd take my vacation there and drop in on the Rainbow Gathering in Vermont. I was told I shouldn't take any pictures without the person's permission but that would be unrealistic when taking a crowd picture. Anyway, this is the peace circle on July 4th, one of the kitchens and the first aid tent.
I enjoyed the gathering, great vibes. I wasn't camped out there, I was at a campground a few miles south. I would drive to it, park my car at the back of the line (we were all parked on the side of the road) and thumb a ride to the gate. My only issue was too many people were asking for spare nuggets. I didn't mind giving them a toke off my pipe but I'm not giving away nuggets. The crowd was at its peak on the 4th. When I went back on the 6th most people had left and many others were leaving. Still a great atmosphere. Next year it's supposed to be held here in Oregon, So I need to make my plans to attend.
Fun photos! When you can can you share photos of the countryside of oregon? I keep hearing how beautiful Oregon is but have never been there.
