You could wear them in pigtails? The cute tufty pigtail phase wont last forever, eventually they'll be too long. Maybe little buns? Hair-clip stuff? Sure you can do more than ponytail

Oooh I don't know all of those; might have to look into them. Yay for Rancid though. We saw NOFX in Oslo last summer , the day after doing my dreads. Actually I'll take this opportunity to make up for my derailing... The day we were going to see NOFX, my husband's mum came over and she saw my hair and obviously just assumed it was some kind of hair-do I'd done for the gig since it was all mad sticking out everywhere with elastic bands all over, and when I said I was going to have my hair like that for the rest of my life she evidently thought I was being sarcastic and laughed her head off...then realised I was serious, doh. No-one in the family has said anything about my dreads since, lol

Yeah Amy my "coming out" with the family was interesting! I still get the "you need to comb that shit out".....and the "Whoopie" jokes. Told em they were going with me to the grave. They just shake their empty lil heads. Funny how I am 35 and still have them trying to tell me how to live........urrrrrr

Ive tried pigtails but my hair's so short it always falls out and it doesnt do the cute tufty dready thing when in pigtails...it just kinda lays flat...I guess cuz my dreads are not really all that mature yet. However, today my hair has been staying up in a bun...which is proof that it is getting longer! So maybe in another month or two the dready pigtail thing will work! Yaya! I think Ill go hit up the dollar store and get some cute pins and stuff to mess around with it more. Thanks for the ideas!
