I posted about this years ago but anyway somewhere between then and now I stopped. Recently cleaning up decided use my foot to pick things up and at first it was pretty difficult but it is actually kind of cool how fast the coordination to do so is learned. It is becoming automatic again, I just grabbed my baseball cap off the floor with my foot without even thinking. It was just the easiest way to get it.
I used to be pretty good at this as well. It became so ingrained I even caught myself at work trying to pick up things I had dropped on the floor. While wearing my work shoes.
I do this on occasion. I’m pretty much in charge of basic cleaning stuff most of the time at home, and I do it all barefoot. Sometimes it’s just quick and easy to grab, say, a towel or a dirty shirt by scrunching my toes as opposed to leaning down for it.
Heheh, yes! picking up things with my toes is great fun~ I think it's because it's a sort of challenge, plus it's useful too!
