    better posture,better balance,better blood supply to organs,the soles cöntain nerve endings for all organs,better bio rhythms,if kids attend school barefoot,30-50% increase in marks,and improved concentration,better blood supply to feet of diabetics,generalised sense of wellbeing,no ingrown toe nails,raised barefoot decreases bunions due to the natural spread of toes,with kids that have flat feet,walking/raising barefeet,builds foot arch.

    Going bf also protects your knee and hip joints.
    Because you can feel exactly where the ground is, heel strike is prevented, eliminating damaging shock loadings, and it also lets you walk correctly (ball- heel, or "fox walking") which sends the load path through the centre of the joint where it belongs.
    This also has the effect of beefing up your calf muscles and preventing varicose veins.
