The Cord was another fabulous car made in Indiana. Like the Auburn and Duesenburg it was hand made by craftsmen, before they had assembly lines. Ford and GM had them up in Michigan, but not in Indiana. The Cord was a very innovative car. It was the first to have front wheel drive and the first to have CV joints. It was also the first to have intermittent wiper, and first with hidden headlamps. Many movie stars bought the Cord.
