Modern Nikon certainly has built in WiFi.
    Can’t comment on cannon.

Shutter speed, doesn’t matter which brand you pick! Two choices to up the shutter speed .

Either higher ISO and/or faster glass.
(By which I mean more expensive!)

Normal consumer lenses are typically f/5.6
(f stop is aperture, it’s the amount of light that a lens lets in. There is a formula that corresponds to the lens length which gives the aperture diameter.......or something?)

Slightly better lenses are usually f4 ish.

Real good would be f2.8 or better.
The faster the glass, the lower the ISO.

Low ISO (closer to 100) yields a better image re noise.
    There is a big difference between f4 & f5.6
But on a bright sunny day.......
You’ll be stopping down anyway so it doesn’t matter too much, given you’ll be outside at a racetrack.

I get some decent stuff with what is considered middle of the range (consumer not pro) lens wise, and at the time of purchase at least the camera was the best I could afford, the combination is Nikon d7100 and the 70-300 Ed vr.

If you have a bunch of cannon glass, stick with them I suppose? I’m sure they would have similar technology!
But these days, quite a lot of people like mirrorless, for size/weight and cost!

    Good luck!

Bath abbey cathedral? Not sure exactly what it is called, but you can do a tour and walk out along the roof for about £5. Well worth it! If you don’t mind heights!
Stunning building, loads of lovely carved marble inside, and some flags which date back to the Zulu war whatever that was called. There are pictures of all that somewhere. It’s actually a great city centre to visit.

A poppy. It was a random plant that grew in my garden, most likely deposited seed from a bird dropping. Shot with sigma 150 os macro.

Inside the clock face, Musee d'Orsay, Paris. I took this picture about 3 years ago. The figures at the bottom between the Roman numerals for 5 and 6 indicate the size of the clock. It's visible from across the Seine.
