Just wanted to share how GrapheneOS has allowed me to live phone-free. It's liberating to disconnect while still having essential functions like calls and texts. With GrapheneOS, I have the freedom to stay connected simply.

Please note that GrapheneOS is currently available only for Pixel devices.

    Very cool!
I've been using a nokia 8210 4G for a while now and it seems to work pretty similar. Honestly just such a huge stress relief :)

Some years ago, a crazy guy in Japan developed a mobile phone that was simply a tooth crown.
The auditory connection was by ultrasonic vibrating your jaw bone and activating at auditory nerve directly, missing out the middle ear. Replies did the same thing in reverse. Power was from the alkaline saliva reacting with the calcium in your teeth. It was never mentioned, but I assume that you turned the phone off by drinking a glass of fruit juice. Needless to say, they never developed a prototype. Perhaps they thought that the idea of buying a phone at the dentist would never catch on, particularly when an upgrade involved the dentists drill again.

If the designer is still alive, I assume that he is sitting in his room on the funny farm, trying to work out how to link his invention to the optic nerve, allowing you to see pictures and watch YouTube videos, Hopefully not while driving.

I can only guess this still nds wifi or data? Took me awhile. But i found an app called textnow. Which calls & texts on wifi or data. Still looking for a walkietalkie app which would bluetooth. Alotta mess to wade thru in these searches. Especially on playstore. & ive also heard of an elusive local tv app. Funny in these. That they only show me lame lil antennae for it.
