Sincerely curious. Are you frightened of dogs or/and cats? or did you used to be? If you have ever had this fear before, how did you overcome it?
I'm fine with dogs and cats... but for some reason, I don't like crickets. I know they're harmless, but the way they jump around so quickly just freaks me out. And there's always tons of crickets in my backyard. >_<
It's not that I'm scared of cats, they just hurt with their claws and needles. If I get scratched by one or bitten don't get me wrong, it won't scare me and that thing will get the shock of its life when I have my sat by I guess I am weary of them. Not dogs though. They're easy to read and I'm find with them, if they come a charging you just knock them over and rub their bellies and then they all yours. Spiders, insects and bugs though. They can just go crawl somewhere and die. I dunno why they so freaky. Is it because they're so small? Or so weird? Or so ugly? i do not like them though and at times can be afraid of them. And moths. Brr.
I don't have a phobia of spiders. I don't even mind if certain kinds happen to land on me. There are some, though, that I really don't care to get around.
I have a spider living in the window sill next to where I am sitting at the moment. 'i watch it catch flies and take them into a crack, a little while later the spider dumps the empty carcass on the window sill. He averages one a day.
my cousin was bitten by a black widow spider a few weeks ago. put her in the hospital. the bite was the size of a tennis ball. that's how big it got...
Sounds painful and disconcerting. i have a friend who was bit by a mosquito and contracted malaria, put her in the hospital too.
Who are those two bugs? By sight, i feel creeped out by the second one....as it looks frightening...first one does not look as scary.
OK, yeah....i can live without the cockroaches, too, anywhere....and why are centipedes such as that one good for a house? I was trying to figure out my favorite insect last night....I like alot of them...but right now, i am enamored the most with fireflies or lightening bugs....they dance on Champy's and oscar's grave every night now, like clock work....it is unworldly. They are no where else right now outside here. I always liked them, anyway........ It is awesome how they are little sparklers......
humans mostly, especially when they're on something. alky especially. as for non-humans, i wouldn't say frightened, but if they don't want my company, i try to be considerate of that, just as i am with humans.
Slugs freak me out, and have since I was a little girl. I used to play in my grandmas garden when I was a very little girl (around 4 or 5), and when the sun would go down, dozens and dozens of slugs would come out and I would be surrounded. It was enough to install a fear of slugs in me that still is with me today. I wouldn't call it a phobia though.
