i think phish was just those guys throwing their energy allllll out, bringing it down abit, spacing it out, yeah, but truly just energy and soul freedom. all the guys made the band, but trey fucking toreee shit up - but so did everyone*

the dead were all about soul freedom just the same, but the collective Beauty and Peace and almost surrender into the music... they said it best - the music played the band. we were truly blessed to have the grateful dead share what they had to share with us*. im my opinion, moreso then phish having shared their bits.

trey and jerry are both alchemists of music, but mother fuck - can't be compared.**** there's in different dimensions, different individuals completely - like all of us =)
